Great Lego set for 55 year old
I am 55 and own a brg Mini Cooper so this was an ideal gift ( too myself ) spent a few hours building, going back because I missed a bit and finally finishing the model. Yes it’s a little expensive but for an enthusiast it’s worth it.

Lego Large Mini
What people don't realize is being Lego you can have it as an older or newer Mini as mine has been have converted to look like a 'sixties Mini complete with skinny wheels as are not too keen on the Scalextric style wheels. Have travelled in an original Mini Cooper from the 'sixties so used this as a basis. Mine would not please the purists yet are happy that is looks pretty much as it should limited as it is by being Lego. Lowering the bonnet makes it look so much better if you make it flat with the light housings. Mine now has five matching Lego wheels as felt the spare was a bit odd looking and have these in silver well grey for Lego. Build as is or like me have fun making it look like a much older version. As for cost worth every penny! Wish Lego made road tyres for the skinny wheels! On mine the excuse is the tyres and wheels are from the Monte Carlo Rally!

Expensive.
I can’t answer most of the questions because this is a Christmas gift. However, I am cross that it has gone down in price by about £45 since I bought it earlier in November.

Brilliant for Collectors
As an avid lego car collector, the mini was the last on my list as a purchase but due to the fact it's a retired set it was hard to find. This was the cheapest I had found on my browsing and, as much as it was very expensive for lego I am glad to have purchased it and have it in my collection.

It’s Lego
I’m a great lover of Lego. This was a little pick me up for my 39th birthday in lockdown. Really enjoyed might get the light kit to go with.

Made my son VERY happy!
This model arrived just in time for a birthday and though the size of the box made hiding it for a week hard to achieve, I got the kind of thanks that make it good to be a dad!
