Great for smart switches
Did the job, needed to give more space for a smart light switch which was very fat at the back this did the job perfectly

Good product let down slightly by being slightly off-colour
Does the job of giving you more room for wiring if you have a shallow back box. I used this to provide more space so that I could install a smart switch, which tend to extend deeper behind the switch than a non-smart switch. I only needed 10mm and the options were limited. It does the job but be aware that (a) it has rounded corners and (b) it is slightly off white. Consequently my switch + spacer + surround are all slightly different, but this spacer is the most noticeably off-white of the the three (hence the 4 stars).

Perfect fit
These are great as they are specifically designed for the Nexus range so the profile is perfect. We were doing a quick make over of our landing, (eventually it’ll need a full replaster) the previous owner had put sockets on to the batten of the stud wall so the back box was very shallow. Rather than create more work by channeling out the batten or moving the socket, I bought this spacer hoping that it wouldn’t look too bad. I was really impressed the fit was perfect and it allowed me to put the same faceplates as I have in every other room, I might actually keep it rather than cut the plasterboard and install a new back.

These are perfect if you haven’t got a deep backbox for fitting a light switch that requires more space inside.

Good Spacer
Does exactly what it says. My situation may be somewhat esoteric but... If you have also brought the Allomn Remote light switch it will sit on top of this frame rather than inside it. Aesthetically it looks fine to me, but it might be something you want to consider. Also I would invest in "10 x Long Extension Electrical Socket Switch Light Plug Screws M3.5 x 50mm" at the same time, the existing screws I had were not long enough with this extension in place.

Wrong colour in picture
I bought this thinking it was grey !!! - didnt read the small print as it arrived white ! ... no point sending it back so will use as and when ... maybe they should have been designed that they could be multi stacked so one can use 2 or 3 to pack the switch out to enable the cables to fit behind or offer different depths 10/15/20 mm but a good altn that smashing the wall deeper and buying a 35mm insert.
