Mouldmaster 1 Kg Stonecast, White

I chose this product based on a number of reviews on various sites as I searched for a decent quality substance to use for a cast of my hand for an art project. So glad I found this. So easy to mix, pour and when it says it sets within about 20mins - it does. I was amazed by the detail this managed to pick up from the alginate mold I made. Fingerprints, hair follicles, wrinkles/creases... they're all there. If you want detail and a solid cast, you won't go wrong with this. Again, ignore all of the 'tips' online about different ratios - just follow the instructions on the packet and you won't go wrong!

Love it came out just as I wanted. I used two bags of 450g aliginate to mold and 1kg of stone.to make my holding hands model. I cut the top off a 5 litre water bottle to hold the mold.... After 4 hours we removed the mold. The model was near perfect apart from a few bubbles of stone which had attached itself to the model. (possibly where the alginate wasn't mixed properly). This was easy to rectify, I just used a tooth pick to scrap it off.. It's myself and my Husbands 30th anniversary this year so what a great keepsake to mark the year. The model actually looked great white but I had already decided I would paint it. I painted my hand champagne gold and my husband's rose gold ( 3 coats). I still wanted more sparkle so to seal it I used Mod Podge 8 oz Sparkle Waterbase Sealer, Glue and Finish, Clear

so simple to use and such a fast setting time...incredible stuff. Love the super smooth finish. Incredibly fine so it does get absolutely everywhere if you are not careful and probably best to wear a mask. The 1kg is not particularly good value for money although I've had the 5kg one now for a couple of months and just reseal the bag with pegs and keep in a dry place after use and it's been fine - the larger bags obviously represent better value for money for regular use, hence I've marked the 1kg bag down on value for money

Having never used this type of product I was a little unsure of it. I mixed up a quarter of the amount and used less water than required. After 3 hours I checked it and it had set and it was easy to remove from the mould. I have yet to paint it but I'm sure it will be fine. Very sturdy and I'll be buying some more.

Can't rate this highly enough! It worked just as it should, I followed the instructions for the mixture exactly as specified and I was so incredibly happy with the end result 🎉🎉🎉 Literally ready within 20 minutes once cast into moulds ❤ of course you have to wait until it is ice cold to the touch before painting, it needs no more than 4 to 6 hours but I left it 24 hours just to be on the extra safe side! **It's advisable to wear a mask when measuring and mixing so you don't inhale the powder.

Didn't make very many stones and was a bit lumpy to mix but overall ok

Ho messo 5 stelle perché il prodotto è arrivato velocemente e perfettamente integro. Il punto è che credevo di avere acquistato argilla bianca per cosmetica, invece si tratta di polvere per argilla per scopo artistico, da non adoperare sul corpo. Errore mio, comunque il venditore è corretto.

Habe eigene Duftsteine angefertigt. Leider steht keine Gebrauchsanweisung auf der Verpackung. Trozdem sehr einfache und schnelle Handhabung. Ergebnis sehr schön.
