Looks good but the halves aren’t 100% aligned and the cork layer is very thin. My pins in the southern hemisphere fall out which defeats the purpose.

Purchased as a house-warming gift for a friend. I was delighted with the item, and speed of delivery; she absolutely loves the globe and it is a real talking point!

Bought as a birthday present. Looks great, but decided not to use the pins. Just use it as a globe 🌎 🙂

This is a great idea and the globe is good quality - my only criticism is that the join in the cork is roughly where the equator is - and it is rock solid - so you can't push the pins in. So if you want to mark anywhere near the equator (ie where the cork halves join) you have to put the pins way off the actual location. Other than that its great!

Excellent product. Despite purchasing the larger sized globe, I still switched to smaller bead-headed map pins to save space in areas we traveled extensively. Colors look terribly dark in the box but are very nice when seen in actual light. Pins take a bit of patience to insert through the cardboard which backs up the cork exterior, but slow, steady pressure does the trick. Yes, there seems to be a plastic ring inside the equator which poses a problem sticking a pin in places like Singapore (as another rater mentioned) but i managed. Nice size, nice quality, and a great idea for those who cherish their travels.

Mein Kollege bekam im April einen geschenkt. Ich hab den Globus gesehen und musste ihn haben. Wertig verarbeitet und wenn Fähnchen eingesteckt sind lässt er sich dennoch drehen. Das war mir wichtig. Der Preis schreckte mich jedoch ab. Als ich ihn reduziert entdeckt habe, schlug ich gleich zu! Auch mein Exemplar ist sauber verarbeitet. KEINE Verschiebungen oder unsaubere Klebestellen wie bei den anderen Bewertungen zu lesen. Die handvoll Stecknadeln sind natürlich ein Witz, viel zu klobig und eben...5 Stück ;-). Ich verwende Markiernadeln. Die sind kurz (1,7cm) und dicker als Stecknadeln. Die lassen sich prima einstechen und sehen nett aus. Ich bin happy!

Recht kleiner Globus (manchmal etwas schwierig das richtige Land zu treffen ;) ) aber sehr gut verarbeitet und eine sehr hübsche Dekoration!

I got the 25 cm one, which is a nice size for a desktop. It looks nice, good quality and perfect for sticking in small pins. On my particular item the cap-like thing which should be at the top of the rod that goes through the globe was missing, but I managed to find a workaround. Also, as others have mentioned, the included pins are too few and far too large to for this sized globe.

People are very drawn to see the pins in my globe. I enjoy my colour coded system and putting new ones is as I travel around this world.
