WOW Factor for Musical Journey
IBANEZ artist NOMAD,FYI, I am a pro musician of 50 years standing, and play IBANEZ,reviewing 10 of the best available here on Amazon over the last 2 years...Bass is the foundation, and this instrument is a solid foundation for aspiring musicians and future bassists. You get a lot of bass guitar for your money in this classy rendition. The model is a trusted formula,4 string, with copious amounts of volume and tone control, and the addition of bass boost over the 180 in this model ..more deep sounds, even at lower volumes..nice! ...simple to play and tune,it is stylish and suits many bass techniques, including slap, with a full sound, and dare I say a sweet Rickenbacker sound for YES fans..strings are good quality, standard,an active instrument regardless of standard, this sounds gr8.. love the slim smooth neck...my only caviat would be to say ,a 3 quarter size model would be better for under15, because of range and comfort...for everyone else,a fantastic bass for introductory pricing,a solid BUY!

Perfect for beginners
As a beginner, I find this bass guitar perfect. Despite some negative reviews on YouTube, I chose it for its good looks and active electronics. To my surprise, it delivers excellent sound quality, especially when paired with an Orange bass combo. I previously owned a more expensive Yamaha 504, which was well-built, but this bass offers great value and sound, making me prefer it and sell the Yamaha. I enjoy playing it in my spare time and am very satisfied with my choice.

The Ibanez GSR 200 is a great bass
I’ve been using bass loops for a couple of years now and seem to have pretty much exhausted that source. I’ve also used sequencers but it’s just not the same as an actual bass guitar. The resonance and sustain is pretty much in a league of its own when it comes to playing and recording. I usually play a Fender Tele so I know my way around a fretboard and after researching, I thought the Ibanez GSR 200 would be the best choice: I’m not disappointed, it’s a great bass guitar with a great sound and ideal for beginners and experienced alike.

Ibanez GSR 200
The Ibanez GSR 200 is a great bass for beginners and also for people who know there way around a fretboard. However if you are an accomplished bassist I would look for a higher standard bass like a Fender, for example. If you are thinking of playing a bass in a band like I am, I would certainly recommend this bass to you, as it provides an excellent tone and the pickups are worth there value. The price of this guitar is well thought out; the bass is certainly worth its value in money, accomplishing its full potential. As a buyer of this guitar I would recommend buying this bass and other Ibanez products, as they are perfect for beginner basses and provide great quality. This product scored 4th place on the top four basses, however this bass is much better than second place which is an Encore, and could be worthy opponent to 3rd place; the Yamaha. This product obviously isn't the best on the market as the Fenders and also Gibson basses are a lot better, but this product performs a lot better than Encore, Stagg and would challenge Yamaha basses. If you are this type of person, I really would buy this bass as it produces high quality and is not low range suggested by its price. This really is an excellent bass.

Great bass for the money
Things have obviously moved on! A few nay sayers about this bass but I can’t see any issues at this level. For the money I can’t fault this bass, nice finish, good action, decent components throughout, I’d recommend for a beginner or some one getting back into it, easily see you through learning to play and onto gigging or as a studio bass, very happy with the guitar, price and the service.

Great
Arrived on the estimated day. Looks a bit darker than expected but I still like it. When I take a pic with my own camera it also looks a bit lighter in colour than it is with the naked eye. So it is not advertised wrongly in any way. All works fine. Bass boost is nice and it wouldn't sound great without it. It arrived fully set up and even better was that it was in tune. It must have been tuned before being sent. The shop tag was also on it. It came with a cable and manual booklet. Fret board wasn't too dry but I used some fast frett on it to pamper it a bit. It doesn't come with bag or strap so you will need to buy seperately.

BASS Where's the stuff
Bass seems fine. Set up OK. Action a wee bit high. Slight fret buzz on D string. But a good beginner model. No amp here so can't check electronics. Overall, a good instrument. It's for my 14 year old daughter. Amazon say it's meant to come with a bag and a strap. Nothing in the box except a key for neck tuning and a maintenance manual. That's a shame.
