Positive results - but you still have to train
I got this to support a behaviour modification programme for my very anxious rescue. My vet's view was - it may do nothing but it won't do any harm. With the programme she has progressed from terrified of everything and/or very submissive/shut down to OK for much of the time, but with anxiety about strangers and noises, low startle threshold, a tendency to lunge and bark when anxious. That actually counts as progress! She has enough confidence to act out - but not enough to chill out, yet. Working with a behaviourist we have made great steps forward - but if she has a couple of high stress days (which in her terms could just be a couple of very windy days) she reverts to her 'cave dog' tendencies. So, I'm trialing this to see if it can take the edge off the build up of stress and enable her to focus on the positive behaviours that I'm conditioning as responses to the things that make her nervous. Three days in on half dose (I wanted to make sure it didn't upset her stomach - which is also sensitive) I'd say that there was a definite change. She is far more chilled out - less head turning to check over her shoulder, less fixated staring, better startle threshold and less exaggerated responses if she does startle, better ability to re-focus on me if something does worry her. Seems well tolerated by her insides as well. It does seem to have a slightly sedating effect - no bad thing as she's quite restless, however she still is mad for her ball and her doggy friends so no change in personality. I'd say it was a very useful add on to a training/behavioural programme for a nervous dog. Christmas is likely to be a bit of a trial for her so perhaps full dose for that week!

No sign of working
Ive upped the dose and still a mental puppy, i guess i’l just have to wait till she grows out of it hopefully lol, this is my last attempt of finding a product that actually calms a dog as to date ive now spent over £170 on products claiming to calm hyperactivity 😕

One of the only things that’s helped
I have tried everything out there including name branded stuff to help my recent rescue dog settle and not be so reactive when people walk past my home. I can’t believe how well these have worked. He’s gone from barking at everything (including leaves in the wind) to laying by the door quietly. One thing I would say though is no matter how small or big your pet is start with 1 tablet at a time. At least that way you’ll see if 1) they work and 2) if you need to increase the dose. Ok they may not work for everyone but these are worth a go. Also I know many people ask this question of most products so I’ll help out. You get 30 tablets in a box.

Was sceptical
After trying g alot of different tablets or liquids for calming these have finally WORKED and effective My mini doodle is petrified of fireworks so started her on these beginning of October and built her up to 3 daily which she is on now and although she hears the fireworks she is no longer shaking. The calming effect works as she now comes and lays besides us on the sofa just for extra comfort. Would highly recommend, they have a beefy smell but we have to hide in food for her to take. Definitely value for money.

Reasonably effective and worth a try
By no means a miracle cure, however they made my incredibly nervous dog a bit braver and a bit less barky. I've bought two more packs as my dog is a large breed who needs 6 tablets a day. I will be moving soon so I will be giving him these tablets at least 2 days before and 3 days after (roughly a packet). They're worth a try - especially if purchasing as an add-on as one packet for £2.99 is worth a go! I didn't realise how it was working until I ran out and his barking went back to how it was (he's back on them now). He also takes them willingly as treats (they smell slightly meaty) he's not overly into food - so if you dog likes food, you should have no trouble getting them to take the tablets.
