Silverline Glue Sticks – 11.2mm x 100mm, 50-Pack Hot Melt Adhesive Sticks for Crafting & Repairs (698462)

I bought for use with Stanley Heavy Duty Glue Gun and they were rapidly delivered in a branded bag.. These are a little short for this application but two together work fine and are in some ways more convenient. They melt clear and dry rapidly and can also be used to bridge narrow gaps and fill small holes. So far my repairs have held so no issues with their effectiveness and much cheaper that the Stanley or Bosch equivalents.

This product was perfect & strong for my glue gun. Was easy to figure out sizes with no issues. I worked I a school so many of the staff had no complaints of the strong glue bond when completing projects. Very pleased with the product & would definitely buy again.

In comparison to other brand glue sticks, I found these produce far less odour and so far last longer per stick. Yes, you need to load two in the gun sometimes as they are shorter but that's not even an inconvenience, especially when glueing in small areas. I use these in a stanley dual glue gun so they work well in both high and low temperatures.

First time using a glue gun, how have I not discovered them before!!! Will be buying more glue sticks for my new favourite toy!!

I ordered these along with my Stanley Heavy-Duty Glue Gun, and initially I was a little worried, as the glue gun states it requires 11.3mm glue sticks, and on the packaging of the gun, it says "For use with Stanley Dual Melt Glue Sticks." However, I took a chance, and simply inserted two of these glue sticks into the gun when it arrived. I anxiously waited a few minutes for the glue gun to heat up, squeezed the trigger, and I can happily say that these glue sticks worked perfectly with my gun. I haven't used it as much as I was hoping to, however, so now the pack of 50 does seem a little extreme, but there seems to be no packets of glue sticks for sale of a figure in between 6 or 50 - it's either-or. Still, I am glad I ordered these glue sticks, and I can recommend them for use with the Stanley Heavy-Duty Glue Gun, just remember to insert them two at a time for ideal first time use.

Worked very well with my Stanley Cordless Glue Gun and everything I have used it for has not fallen down or off yet, so I guess it's doing the job! Seems a bargain at the price too, as you get 50 sticks for the price others charge for far less. Will definitely buy again but as I've still got 46 sticks left, that may be some time...

Just received these sticks and not exactly as described. The image shows longer sticks such as the Stanley brand. They are TRANSLUCENT not transparent as described in the amazon description and on the packaging. Just as others say they are shorter than some other makes at 100mm long 11.5mm in diameter and fit fine in my Stanley GR25 feeding one stick in after another like you would anyhow with longer sticks. They melt on both the high and low settings. Adhesion is good. When hot the glue is clear but once cooled and set it returns to a slightly off white opaque just in case you desire a clear glue like some stick are. They have a slight yellow tinge to them like other brands you may see listed on amazon.Price wise at 500g of glue they are good value. 2 stars off for the image difference and that they are translucent not as the described transparent, Needed some glue pretty quick but I would have bought a different product if know this second point that no one has mentioned in the feedback.

I use these glue sticks with a blowtorch on many projects.. 200 litre plastic drum had a hole in it. Clean the area and roughen up with coarse sandpaper.. Using the blowtorch to melt it into the hole but keeping it away from the work piece when too hot. Ciols down and you a have a solid weld.

Para mi gusto son pequeñas, son de 10cm, no me fijé en el tamaño, ha sido culpa mía de haberla comprado tan pequeña en relación a su costo. Son de buena calidad, resistente, se extiende bien, toma calor rápido. El único inconveniente es que se me han acabado pronto.

Acquistata per mia moglie che si diverte a fare bricolage, queste stecche si sciolgono perfettamente ed incollano senza alcun problema. Sono perfette per la pistola a caldo che possiedo (Stanley). Davvero ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo. Sono pienamente soddisfatto di questo acquisto e lo consiglio anche ad altri utenti. Spedizione prime puntuale.

Colle de très bonne qualité pour un prix correct. Je l ai utilisé pour des creations de noel sur bois plastique et pour rénover un fauteuil, en collant le tissu sur le bois.
