Great Value - Bring your wired headphones into the wireless world.
Very Fast Despatch. Nice little unit, a bit plasticky but functions well. Paired really easily with a variety of sources. Perfectly useable line-of sight range of about 10m, deteriorates as objects are in the way - as expected. Slight hiss when no signal present, barely any decoding delay so good for video but not fast enough for IEMs. Comes with several useful connectors. Nice balanced sound for the money, recommended. I bought this together with "TROND Bluetooth V4.1 Transmitter Receiver / Wireless 3.5mm Audio Adapter, Featuring aptX Low Latency for Both TX & RX, Dual Stream and Volume Controller". Can now watch TV with wired headphones but no physical connection between headphone and TV.

Bought this along with the trond transmitter to be sure that I had the best chance of using the low latency feature (both transmitter & receiver must support low latency). Works perfectly for watching TV, no lip-sync issues. I thought I would try with another receiver to see the difference. I tried with an old Nokia bh11 Bluetooth adaptor; I could perceive a slight lag in the audio but it wasn't huge, however I guess it would not be good enough to enjoy a whole film.I tried pairing the receiver with my phone, my phone found it but I could not connect to it, not sure if I was doing something wrong but I didn't buy it for this so didn't investigate further.Using the receiver with some in-ear headphones the volume is good but with larger over-ear headphones it is a little quiet but turning the source volume up compensates for this.Overall good purchase (of both transmitter & receiver), does what it says with regard to the low latency for watching TV.

Excellent budget device
This is an excellent little unit. It is small - about 2 x 1.5 inches, and very light. When you switch it on, it finds the bluetooth signal fairly quickly and locks onto it, and without any hassle you hear the music. It says the range is 10 metres, which is much better than 3 metres quoted for cheaper devices. The volume + and - buttons work well. The built-in battery lasts around 10 hours and takes 2 hours to recharge. So if you set up your BIOS to recharge when the computer is switched off, you can leave it plugged in overnight. You can also plug in or unplug the charging lead while it is playing and it continues normally (a lot of devices switch off and need to find the signal again).Judging by the Q&A, the makers treat customer requests seriously, and are continually improving their products, and it shows. I bought mine for £16.99 after shopping around (March 2017).

Right ear doesnt work properly
Can someone please get in touch? I have now tried multiple headphones and earphones.. Left audio channel works fine, but the right channel barely works. Distorted, scratchy, very low volume. Basically right ear is essentially hearing garbage which makes this unusable but I assume this is a faulty device. Please advise.

Too much background noise/hiss
Does what the description says. Audio synchronization works good with a aptx ll transmitter. Some interfaces if this device is moved or even touched during playback - very not so great. Sound level is okay and sounds decent with a good ear/headphone.Why 2 stars? The hissing/noise in the background is way too annoying to give it three stars.Volume should be adjusted with clicking instead of holding down the button.Loud level of volume during powering off.Belt clip or similar would be a bonus.Reduce the background noise and this is a 4star. Improve the buttons and connectivity/paring and its a 5star.

It works splendidly with Trond transceiver BT-DUO S
I have bought both the Trond transceiver (BT-DUO S) and the Trond receiver (BT-RX S), both with aptx low latency. They work splendidly together. I have tested with several different phones. The day they arrived there was a very noisy party at my neighbour's. I put my old Bose noise cancelling headphone and watched tv as in paradise. Next night, as there was no parties nearby, I watched TV with my Galaxy Note AKG earphone, so I would not disturb anyone in my apartment. And it was as perfect as before. Really happy with both Tronds. The quality of the sound is fantastic, there is no hiss at all. I have then tried the transceiver with my Samsung Gear Circle bluetooth headset, instead of using the Trond receiver, and it also worked marvellously. The bass was better with the Trond receiver though. I definitely recommend both! Beware, if you want to use two headphones with the wonderful aptx low latency simultaneously, you should buy the TROND BT-DUO II instead, because the TROND BT-DUO S downgrades to SBC whenever you connect it to two phones at the same time. The SBC's latency is much bigger, therefore it is not recommended for movies. Otherwise, it is perfect.
