Eco by Sonya Driver Face Tan Water 100ml

I have suffered the most horrendous allergic reactions on my face for 6 months after using a well known serum from a famous high street store. Consequently I have had to tread very carefully & take baby steps with every new product I try. I really don't like tanning my face in the sun but never thought I'd find such a skin friendly facial tanner that my skin tolerates so well. This product goes on easily and produces a lovely even tan overnight. For a deeper colour, maybe when I'm abroad, I would apply it 2 nights running. Delighted that I don't have to apply foundation any more as the only one my skin can tolerate is a crazy price.

I've only ever used tan lotions before this, and always found them to be too greasy, smelly, or irritating to used regularly. This tan water is a total revolution. No horrible chemicals or fragrances, no greasy lotion, and it gives a mild tan which can be layered easily. I've had my bottle for several months and still have 3/4 left, so it's great value for money too.

The product itself is lovely - everyone should use this for clear and healthy looking skin. I have used this for years. BUT, I’ve just opened a new bottle and the contents won’t come out because of a defect in the spout. Very hard to use.

I'm writing again as I have give it time to see how it goes when washing your face and replying it, well for me it didn't wash well. I was expecting it to fade nicely and it didn't. it left dirty patches that I had to scrub , so didn't look as good on next application, not as good as I thought it was

I received this product yesterday and used it yesterday night and woke up to a nice, lightly tanned glow this morning. Its much easier to apply with a cotton ball than with your fingers. It hasn't broken me out, has made my skin softer and look fresher. I would definitely recommend this product and would most likely repurchase if it continues to work well for me. It is defo a better alternative than putting regular fake tan products on your face, no breakouts from it and no horrible orange colour! Perfect!

So I bought this a little while ago but here is what I discovered. When you put this on your face it doesn't have that proper fake tan smell at first but after some time I start to smell it a little, nothing horrible though and if you are used to fake tan no big deal. It gives a nice little glow basically right after you use it and I'd say you need to use it quite regularly if you want to keep it as it washes off pretty easily (I use Lavera cleansing balm). Like any fake tan it'll stick more to dry patches of skin so I would recommend to use a face scrub before (even though it's a very light tan so it's not like a horrible difference). One thing I don't like about it is applicator - it takes forever to just put it on the cotton pad (but at least you're not wasting the product). Over all a nice experience, just a little bit on the expensive side for what you get.

I was hesitant to try a self tanner for the face as I have heard it could cause breakouts, however this product has been perfect. I am very fair and it looks incredibly natural without any orange tint. I love the fact that it doesn’t have the classic fake tan smell, and is free of all the bad stuff in other tanners. Will definitely repurchase!

On the plus side it hasn’t caused any spots which facial tanners usually do and it does seem to brighten skin a little but I can’t see any tanning effect so I wouldn’t buy again.
