The pencil is good quality but, as the headline says, I bought it for the pencil cap.I couldn’t find the cap on its own, but it is still worth the purchase.The cap is sturdy, and apparently works with other pencil - though I’ve yet to test this - and it comes with a built-in sharpener. It also works as an extender, to make better use of the pencil when it has reached a small size that is no longer comfortable to use.I am using pencils for writing in a notebook that I carry everywhere, so I needed to protect the head of the pencil as they often break while in my pocket. So far, the cap has worked perfectly.

Great for carrying around. Useful and always handy in a case or pocket.

I liked the presentation of the pencil. It's main feature for me is it's utility, the cap and the sharpener that can hold any suitable pencil. Dislikes? - not really; maybe it's a little pricey but that's it. Overall I'd say this was an investment rather than a purchase. Recommended.

I need to complain as it came broken. Doesn’t affect use for now but not what you want when you pay for something new.

This is an excellent pencil. It writes very smoothly. Having a pencil sharpener, a cap and a pencil extender all in one is just genius. The rubber at the end is also of good quality but, as it is white, tends to get dirty fairly quickly if you post the cap over the rubber end of the pencil. I frequent libraries regularly and this is a very convenient little bit of equipment to have with me.

Comfortable to use, writes/draws with ease

A very nicely made item from Faber-Castell. This adds a degree of panache to any pencil, allows it to be clipped onto a pocket and also has an integral sharpener. Lovely design.

Bit expensive for what it is but all you need on a pencil
