Working well so far.
Just bought this to hardwire my dashcam in my car. It arrived in an Eborn branded box which contained the voltage regulator with ground and acc connections well labelled. I had to strip some of the external insulation as the ground and fusebox were far apart in my car. Would have been nice to have a ring/spade connection already terminated to the gnd cable. You can use it to hook up either a mini usb b or micro usb b device as you get two different cables, an advantage over other hardwire kits. The battery protection seems to be working for me, it disabled my dash cam when voltage was reading 11.9v on my dash. You also get some cable management clips, although I didn't use them they may come in handy for another project. All in all I am happy after a few days of testing.

Check the cable length before buying.
Does what it says it should, has both Mini USB and Micro USB cables so you can use both types of unit on the end of this. However, only 4 stars as the cable length is stated as 2mtrs - 7.5 feet in the description. It's actually just over 6 ft 4inches on my cable which is slightly short of the 2mtr mark. Where they got 7.5ft from I don't know. As it stands now those extra couple of inches would've allowed my dashcam sit on the left of the rear view mirror while it now sits on the right, and just in my sight. Not the end of the world, but irritating. I may be able to squeeze a couple of inches from the cable routing but it's getting dark now and I'm done for the day.

May not work as intended but may be just what you want.
Amazon cocked up the delivery so it arrived a day late. Now to the product. If you're buying this for a dash cam for parking mode it might not work as expected. I bought this for a Garmin 45 , it gives a constant power feed but the camera doesn't recognise it and gives a warning. However, it does still record but it is constant instead of being activated by movement. I only really need the parking mode for street/supermarket parking so it fine, when the car to is on my drive it like having an extra security cam so I'm fairly pleased with the outcome. All things said, for the price this is excellent and the only reason it loses 1 star is because is doesn't work as intended with my dash cam.

Check the label !!
Mine arrived quickly. Is well packaged and comes with 2 output cables, one for Micro, and one for Mini USB. Also came with a selection of clips to secure the cable(s). The input cable is hard wired in - would have liked to have seen an in-line fuse for added protection. If you are OK with wiring then this should be a doddle to fit, however, just check - the label on mine was on the wrong way, and was labelling the output as the input and vise-versa. This may be confusing to somebody not certain on how to connect (although it is pretty self-explanatory). Will try to get this fitted at the weekend - weather permitting.

Received item and noticed the sticker is the wrong way around! This was quite confusing for a minute! I hope this works correctly when I install.

Read this if your installation does not work!
Easily fitted to the cars fusebox by adding a piggy back fuse holder to provide an extra circuit. I chose a circuit that was not powered all the time. Not an actual problem, but I discovered the two units I bought needed more than the 12.4v output of my 5 year old car battery. The manufacturer states 11.6 volts., Confusing when installing but all fine with the engine running. Also I think the wiring indicator stickers on both units are the wrong way round, no problem just don't look at the sticker.Other than that good unit, does the job.

Should avoid.
I have bought 2 of these and returned them both. There are 2 reasons why you should avoid this in it.1) there is aan under voltage protection system that is a good idea, it should allow you to wore it straight in to an always live feed, when interests your battery voltage is low, it turns itself off and stops drawing current. The only problem with this is the voltage level is only achieved when the altinator is working so does not work when just the ignition is on and keeps cutting power every few minutes whilsr driving.2) the build quality is really bad. The port on the unit that received the USB pushed through and broke with no force.I bought a second one thinking I just had some bad luck, and did not want to have to replace all the wiring in the car. Exactly the same issues with the second so k ow this was not a one off. Please avoid, plenty better out there for less money.
