Bulk Natural Almond Butter Tub, Smooth, 1 kg, Packaging May Vary

Bought 3 tubs of this for such a great price. But the almond butter itself is delicious. Really nice and smooth and not too hard to stir up.

This has been in the warehouse for too long and has settled until it had separated and was solid. Almost impossible to mix but great if you want a slice (sharp knife needed). Delivered on 28 Jan with expiry date 5 March. Would have returned it but needed it for today. Nice flavour and good value if you don't break anything trying to mix it up. Not recommended unless a better expiry date.

I really like this almond butter that I ordered one more while it's half price (£10). It tastes a bit different than meridian almond butter. I guess it's because this almond butter is without skin. It definitely needs a stir but it's not a big deal. Mostly I liked all nut butter I tried earlier except Sainsbury's brand 1kg almond butter which is full of oil despite stirring.

I really love the almond butter and it's a great value for money! It does separate quite a bit but it is no surprise with a product like that since it's made out of pure almonds and that's it. Just give it a little stir every time you use it not to have the hard parts stuck at the bottom of the container and you will be good to go.My only complaint is the packaging. The lid it EXTREMELY hard to take off and after couple of uses I had broken pieces of plastic flying inside the tub, yikes! That's why I'm taking down one star. I will probably just transfer it to another jar and I would recommend you too to do so.

I follow a Paleo and ketogenic diet for health reasons so I go though a lot of nut butter in cooking and recipes. Some of the reviews for this complained of texture or taste but I honestly found it to be lovely for both. I used to use meridian but found this one and thought it was better for piece. As I would only be adding it into things (not having it on toast) I decided to give it a try. I honestly don't know what people have been fussing over. I have tried it on (Paleo) crackers and found the texture to be, well normal! Sometimes you get separation of the oil and paste but this is normal (it even happens with homemade - I've experienced it). Just give it a stir every now and again. I so impressed that I won't go back to meridian, I'm happy with this one it would beg rest of they had other nut butters or had lumpy versions too.

Not as tasty as I'd hoped. Slightly slimy consistency. However the taste reflects the purity, I guess. Our tastebuds have been corrupted by the very things this does not contain as ingredients (i.e excess salt, palm oil, refined sugar, etc). I think it is probably better in smoothies than it is on toast - though it spreads well and the container is huge (so tricky to store if you don't have much kitchen cupboard space) but chunky and robust, so easy to handle. This nut butter is also excellent value and a good source of protein and non animal fat for vegans. On balance, I'm not sure I would buy it again. I might look for an alternative, first.

You normally expect to stirin oil which has risen to the top, but this was ridiculous. The almond at the bottom was rock hard. I guess this batch has been hanging about for a long time. The use by date was too blurred to read it took me half an hour with a knife to even begin to make progress to mix the solids with the oil. It's still really lumpy. The flavour isn't great either. I have a feeling it's just old. It's probably the worst almond butter I've bought. The pot is poor too. Hard to open and about twice as big as it needs to be for the contents. I won't be buying again

Lecker und cremig, kann ich v.a. Zum backen empfehlen

Das hier ist reines Mandelmus aus gerösteten und gemahlenen Mandeln. Ohne Zucker, ohne Salz, ohne Zusätze. Wenn man die Dose öffnet, schwimmt oben das Öl, das sich abgesetzt hat. Ich knete das immer mit dem Küchenmixer und einem Knethaken ein zwei Minuten langsam durch, dann ist die Konsistenz wieder völlig homogen und das Mus lässt sich dann ganz gut verstreichen. Deshalb ist es auch sinnvoll, dass die Dose nicht randvoll gefüllt ist. So kann man das Öl, das sich mit der Zeit zwangsweise oben absetzt, wieder gut untermischen.Ich esse es am liebsten auf meinem selbstgebackenem Vollkornbrot mit Honig. Sehr lecker! Schmeckt fast wie Marzipan mit Honig.

Ganz klar bekommt man für den Preis nicht die Bio-Qualität vom Bioladen oä. Auch wenn cremig auf der Verpackung steht, ist die Konsistenz ein wenig grieselig. Die Mandeln sind auch geröstet, daher schmeck die Butter etwas anders als ich erwartet hatte. Insgesamt schmeckt es aber nicht schlecht und für den Preis kann man eben nicht das gleiche erwarten, für das man sonst das dreifache zahlt.

Der Inhalt des 1Kg Kontainers den ich am 2 August erhalten habe und gestern am 18.10. geöffnet habe kann einfach nur als schrecklich beschrieben werden. Es schmeckt nach altem "vergammeltem" Öl.Obwohl ich den Kontainer in einem kühlen Kellerraum aufbewahrt hatte und das Haltbarkeitsdatum als 01.07.2020 angegeben wurde, schmeckt die Mandelbutter wie altes Öl.Ich bin sehr enttäuscht da ich auch andere Produkte von Bulkpowder kenne und kaufe wie die Cashew Butter und Pistazien Butter und beide schmecken lecker.Nachtrag...weil das Retourefenster schon verstrichen war als ich den Behälter öffnete, habe ich mich direkt an den Hersteller gewandt und nachgefragt ob ich die Mandelbutter an den Hersteller zurückschicken kann so das er eine Qualitätskontrolle dieser Charge durchführen kann und mir einen Ersatz zuzuschicken.Die Antwort war, das es so erscheinen könne als ob die Mandelbutter ranzig wäre aber ich solle es einfach probieren das Ganze mal zu mischen.Natürlich hatte ich die Mandelbutter schon vermischt - aber ranzig bleibt ranzig.

Ich verwende Mandelbutter anstatt von Margarine morgens auf einer Scheibe Brot oder in ein Porridge eingerührt als Teil einer Clean Eating (veganen) Ernährungsweise. Diese Mandelbutter erfüllt hierfür ihren Zweck. Geschmacklich ist sie gut - klar, es handelt sich hier um keine Gourmetmandeln aus dem Bioanbau - dies wäre bei diesem Preis auch nicht möglich - sondern um konventionell angebaute Mandeln (aus Kalifornien?) wie man sie in den meisten Supermärkten findet. Geliefert wird diese Mandelbutter in einem Plastikbehälter der noch einmal extra in einem Pappkarton verstaut wird. Der Plastikbehälter lässt sich leicht öffnen und die Mandelbutter kommt dann zur Aufbewahrung in den Kühlschrank. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis erachte ich als gut.
