Sky Organics

This was delivered 2 weeks ago and I've already ordered another! Gorgeous butter, mild natural scent and melts well over low heat ban marie. I've been making body butters and sugar scrubs for myself as I have allergies to all skin creams and this is a wonderful base. It whisks up well after a short while in the freezer, to make a light and creamy butter. Highly recommended, much better or my dry sensitive skin than the shea and cocoa butters I've used in the past.

I used this in a diy body whip and the texture is lovely. I find the mango butter on its own has a less oily feel to it. It feels like a high quality mango butter and I am pleased with my purchase. It is expensive but worth it and quite economical if you are doing diy products; you really don't need a lot.

£15 for a jar does seem on the face of it ,a little much,but a little really does go a long way,should last me a while.I'd used raw shea butter for a while,and liked the effect it had on my skin,but couldn't find one that didn't stink!.read reviews of this stuff,and gave it a go,and as suggested,it has only a minimal smell,which isn't too offensive either.Seems to be giving my skin a good feel (which for me is the best indicator!).

Pleased with the product. No smell but quite moisturising. Quite hard to scoop out.

I knew this product was not that practical but I bought it anyway. It is solid so I have to use a teaspoon to get some product out and warm it on my hands before applying it. If you are on a hurry this is not for you. it takes time to put it all over the body. The smell is gently and leaves your skin feeling nice. If the consistency were better it could get 5 stars

I did a little research into some of the ingredients used by the mighty Elemis...one of their cleansing products base is this little hero..mango butter. Using a small amount rub quite vigorously between your palms and massage over make up remove with a warm cloth then use a gentle cleanser to follow. Very soft clean skin. Just FYI I'm in my forties have oily t-zone doesn't aggrevate acne or cause addition oiliness. It's a big jar so it will last for ages.

This came with a very rancid smell. Almost like it had gone off and it was also very crumbly and dry, not really what I expected for mango butter. I really did not want to throw it in the bin after spending so much on it. I whipped it and then poured in quite a few essential oils like lavendar, peppermint to mask the horrid smell. I definitely will not be buying this product again.

Brilliant product this is my third jar. I use this in my homemade whipped hair butter and body butter. It is moisturising and easily absorbed. Apparently mango butter should only make up a maximum of 7% of your total product, anymore than the product will be gritty.

Mango butter is incredible. I was born early & have heel scars from many blood draws. Lotions like St. Ives or Aveeno were sucked up within half an hour and didn’t provide relief from dry, firm, really dry skin (lack of oil). I knew I needed something heavier duty that was more occlusive and emollient. Somehow, I stumbled upon shea butter, amazing! But the product I was using had a very strong scent (not 100% shea, great product but just too strong). I tried mango butter to make my own cannabis pain relief topical for chronic back pain, scraps, bruises. It was great, my skin was so so smooth for a day or so. After trying it multiple times on my heels, I’ll be set for life knowing what works for my skin. I can apply it before work (odorless!!), after getting home- 5 plus times a day if I haven’t been diligent and my feet feel like a models! Great for people who live in 4 seasons, have dry elbows or cuticles (dry: lack of oil, dehydrated: lack of water. My cue for dry? Skin feeling like a shriveled grape. Think post hand washing dishes feeling). CeraVe moisturizer in the tub is great when my skin is dehydrated, great mix of emollients (softens), humectants (moisturizes by adding water from the air, beware swimming in a pool in summer. SO slippery!) & occlusives (just a straight up barrier, think petroleum jelly. Simply seals skin from the air.). CeraVe healing ointment is tops as a sleeping pack/I’m at home now, half your sleeping pack or occasional heel/elbow/super dry skin relief. Mixed (my fave, it boosts effectiveness of its buddy & doesn’t just keep moisture in. I highly value effective ingredients that help treat the root well) or on it’s own. A little goes a long way. It’s easy to remove using the back of my nails to scrap it out, then I roll it into a ball and between my palms to soften to a flexible butter or oil like. I’ve been consistently using this for 6 months straight and I’m probably 1/3 to 1/2 through (includes 4 oz from my salve). This brand is good but the label is misleading. Organic as in from the earth, not organically grown. I’ll be looking elsewhere for a truly organic product. Thanks for coming to my body care TED talk. We only get one. It is worth taking good care of your largest organ. You’re worth taking good care of yourself.

We have been using Sky organics mango butter for almost 2yrs. Our daughter had terrible terrible exczema and we have sworn by this. This product restored the moisture in her skin! Love!

Update, 3 March 2022: This 16 oz jar of mango butter lasted a good 14-18 months without turning rancid like other butters do. I keep the mango butter and the rest of my natural oils in a cool dark place (a box or a drawer) away from light. I love how creamy and moisturing the mango butter is by itsself. I use it as 1/2-2/3 of my skin cream recipe (of which I change the proportions each time I make it). I always use cobalt blue jars because they are "light fast" and protect the ingredients. Once I have combined all of my mango butter and oils mixture, I refrigerate the jar for 3 hours to set the combination into a nice smooth cream. I use my empty 16 oz mango butter jar to make a big batch of cream and keep it refrigerated. That way, I always have my cream handy to refill my little cobalt jar. (I use 1 oz and 2 oz cobalt jars.) ``````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` This is the first time I have ever tried Mango Butter. I must say, it's been a treat. I've been making my own moisturizing formulas and soaps for several years now. I use this Mango Butter in my cream style moisturizers for my lips and skin. I use more of the mango butter in a jar with other essential oils and fruit seed oils when I am making a lip moisturizer. I use a bit less in my moisturizing creams. Whichever manner I use it, the mango butter absorbs rapidly into the skin just like the fruit seed oils that I use. My face is ready for makeup within a couple minutes. I have also used this mango butter in my homemade deodorant. I have no problems with this causing any kind of staining or residue on my clothing. I highly recommend Sky Organics products and their Mango Butter. Update 30 September 2019: Sky Organics has become one of my favorite companies for my natural oil products that I use in my healing and moisturizing creams and lotions. It was time to purchase the Mango Butter again. Got it at half price when I receive the sale notification. I received the Mango Butter today and immediately updated my cream with this fresh jar of Sky Organics Mango Butter. It is deliciously, luxuriously creamy and smooth. I was able to mix it in a jar with my lotion recipe with no problems. The blending was simple and easy to create my cream formula. Thank you Sky Organics for all your great products. The quality of your products and your terrific prices has resulted in my gradually switching from other brands to Sky Organics. Kudos to you!

After reading MANY reviews (and rolling my eyes at a bunch of them), I decided to get this. (I also read the company's description AND google general stuff on the products that I buy.) **To compare with what I already have**; I've been using this company's Shea Butter for over a year now, so, I'm well used to how it works. It's hard at cooler temps too. It does have a strong(ish) earthy/ nutty smell to it, but fades pretty quick though. It's also pretty thick feeling even when I used a small amount. It still works wonders though, and would have bought again if the Mango Butter I've had my eye on for awhile wasn't any good.... **Mango Butter**; AMAZING. Yes, it is a bit harder than the Shea, BUT I just put my nail on the surface and scrape away from me (so it doesn't get under my nail), then take that bit and rub it between my hands for maybe 2-3 seconds and it's perfectly ready to put everywhere. It feels so light and smooth and even on my face. It's perfect for moisturizing before putting on makeup (won't have the caked-up look with the powders and concealers). The scent (**not mango fragranced!**), is super light, just a bit nutty, but goes away within a few seconds. I have really sensitive skin and this stuff is amazing. I even put it on my lips before bed and they're perfect in the morning. I also put it on my scalp if it's a bit dry and in my hair to calm the frizz.
