SNES/GameCube/N64/GC Composite AV Cable (Nintendo Wii)

After not having much luck connecting my original Super Nintendo console to a 32" HDTV via SCART, I ordered this cable. After it had been quickly delivered, I hooked up the console to the AV channel on the TV, and as soon as I hit the power switch on the SNES, a clear picture appeared. In terms of output size, I would recommend working through the settings available on your TV for best results. I went for an expanded view, maintaining a 4:3 aspect ratio and the quality is still good, but this really does boil down to personal taste. A solid cable that gets the job done, and very cheaply too.

I recently dug out my N64 having not played it for 10 years, in the hope of playing Goldeneye. I couldn't get the RF output lead working with my LCD TV... found this lead on Amazon. Next day delivery. Plugged it in..... I was picking off Russian Soldiers with my Sniper rifle in Minutes!! Not sure why its got so many bad reviews.... it works great for me.

I bought the cable as the one that came with the pre-owned GameCube i bought was old and broken, however as i turned the system on with excitment i was greeted with a very washed out representation of what i should be seeing. Heaven forbid you have to play a snowy-level on a game, you will not be able to see anything as the brightness and glare from the white snow will fill the screen. After playing with the TV settings i managed to get a 'playable' result but every time i reach a game or level with a bright environment its gg and time to find a new game or power off. Overall: Does the job, poorly. You will be able to play your Nintendo system until you finally lose self control and become frustrated as you cannot see what's going on. The cable also feels to made of a cheap plastic and i'm guessing will not last too long anyways so bare that in mind. Recommendation: Spend the few extra pennies and just go for the official Nintendo AV cable, if so then none of the problems should occur and you can relive happy gamin memories once again!

This cable is fully functioning and very cheap. However, the image it produces is bad quality because of the brightness and colour contrast. Although you can tell what you are doing the image is far from satisfactory and is not affected by the tv settings. Whilst game-play is still enjoyable, the nostalgic effect of playing the brilliant gamecube is ailed by its graphical downgrading. On the other hand, the gamecube itself is still a great console with many innovative games. I would advise getting the official nintendo cable.

Firstly the delivery of this item was incredibly fast. I ordered it on a Sunday, yes Sunday and it was delivered this morning Tuesday. Secondly this item is definately worth it. The picture quality was vastly improved, in games like goldeneye or castlevania the picture was rather poor and very dark with the conventional RF adapter I had an old scart cable lying around but that too made the picture dark. I connected this cable and MAGIC the picture is twice as bright no more dark picture. I can actually seen more detail and into the distance when playing my old N64 games. AWESOME Product + Super fast delivery = Very satisfied customer.... :-)

Bought this cable for my N64 and happy to say it connects the console to my HD Panasonic TV and works very well. The cable length is very good and allows me to have the console down on the floor with the cable plugged into the back of the TV. As other reviews have mentioned, the quality of the picture signal carried by the cable isn't amazing but then again, you get what you pay for - the picture quality is very, very bright and requires me to turn the brightness and the contrast on the TV right down (hence only 4 stars). Other than being too bright, the sound quality is perfectly fine and I'm getting a lot of enjoyment playing old games that I haven't played for years!

What's not to love about the prospect of getting your old school gaming console out and playing a bit of classic Mario Kart. I got very fed up with trying to tune in my HD TV with the old rf coax cable, with hours of auto tuning, no, no, no! I bought this to give it a try, worked like a charm, took me 30 seconds to install and get playing. RF coax cable went straight in the bin!

This cable is highly recommendable if you would like to play either your old n64 or gamecube consoles again. I didnt care how old my zelda ocarina of time, goldeneye and super mario 64 was, I couldn't stand not having a play of them again from time to time. I find its always great because for me, my friends and many others, its always enjoyable to come back and have a play on them, especially if you are somebody who in the nineties, you and your mates grew up with n64 and have so much positive nostalgia attached to it. If you want your n64 or gamecube to work for you again, then this scart cable will successfully fit and work with both, provided there is still life in the consoles and they turn on for you, hopefully and god willing.

La qualité de la vidéo est tellement médiocre... j'ai mal au yeux rien que d'en parler. Les couleurs criarde, la luminosité aveuglante, les détails impossible à distinguer... bref un désastre mais comme j'ai dit ça peut dépanner c'est tout.
