Never really liked the light the bag charcoal, burning isn't even. The chimney solves this and is efficient, in 20-30mins the charcoal is at a uniform red heat, ready to cook. Just tip it into the bbq tray and you're away. Another benefit is when charcoal is first lit it smokes. The chimney allows you to keep the smoke away from neighbours and guests by having the chimney in a location away from where smoke would be a problem (provided you can do this safely) When ready bring and tip into the BBQ to cook. This is the best bit of BBQ kit I didn't realise I needed. Simple to use very effective - highly recommended.

Very pleased with this product makes the BBQ ready for cooking much quicker. This is a terrific little item that is dependable and fast... No need for smelly fuel or fire starters just a couple of sheets of paper and your charcoal or briquettes and a match and your good to go :) Whether you're packing it up with charcoal or using it as a wind tunnel-like my husband does this is a great addition to anyone's BBQ It is very easy and straight forward to use. Great overall size and is excellent for the price... Highly recommended.

This product is a must have for lighting a charcoal BBQ. Only used it once and I'm so impressed, it's makes the process so easy when used with a eco friendly firelighter. For my BBQ, It could have been a bit bigger, but I got 3/4 of a bag on and started in 10 minutes and then emptied it out and added the rest of the bag. It was ready to cook in 30 mins instead of the usal 60 mins.

Good product which makes it easy to light the coals however the handle does get hot making it awkward when picking up

I bought this for BBQ, this works great, speeds up the process of starting your fire, its good quality and good size. all you need to do it put some paper or fire starter at the bottom and a few pieces of charcoal on top, once fire started, add more on top and you're done.

Great product, works every time using one sheet of newspaper and lumpwood charcoal. Perhaps not the same quality as the webber one I have but great for the price.

Great product that makes starting a BBQ so easy. Just pop a few firefighters under it on the BBQ and go grab a beer and let it do it’s job. I always had to use gel or alternatives to get it going before which as a family I disliked using. So this has replaced that and the job of a BBQ so much easier. Will as a result beba lot keener going forward to have one. One of the best purchases I have made certainly in regard to the garden.

I was fed up of waiting too long for the coals to heat up so sceptical invested in this product. Pleased to say it works perfectly and I can be ready to BBQ in 20 mins.
