I got this as a replacement part for my cat's water feeder and it fit perfectly and has been working without any issues.

My Furries are happy. The fountain is going again. Two cons are the little tube did not come with the motor. And the motor requires a USB not an AC outlet. No big deal. Had to go find a block to plug into. It would’ve been easier to just plug it into an outlet

Water pump went out for my bunnies water fountain. This one works great!

The media could not be loaded. Very disappointed! Pump is extremely weak. The pump I replaced it with still worked but was no longer flowing as strongly as it was when it was new. My old pump was 5 years old but still had a better water flow than this new one. The original pumps were great. People would ask if there was water running in my house because you could hear the sound of the water flowing but you can't even barely hear a trickle with how weak this one is.It does look exactly the same as the original pump with the exception of the blue cap. It looks the same but does not in any way perform the same. I will be returning this pump.

Direct replacement for drinkwell works great

This Carcent cat water fountain pump has less power because of the USB port which is different from our old pump which plugged directly into the wall. As shown in my photo, I plugged the old plug in the outlet below this cat fountain pump plug to show the difference. I had to get a wall plug with a USB slot from my cell phone charger to plug it into.This cat water fountain pump obviously has less power. My old pump that plugged into the wall has 10 watts, the new Carcent cat water fountain pump which plugs in with a USB only has 2.4 watts. My husband who has an electrical engineering degree calculated the watts based on the volts and amp/ma markings on the plugs which is how much power can go to the pump. My husband said that this pump with less watts will not last as long as the old one with more watts.In looking at the fountain, the old pump would obviously push the water up above the top of the ceramic top. This cat water fountain pump with the USB port moves the water over the surface of the top of the ceramic but not above it.My cat does not like it, she only drinks from the top of the fountain when the water comes up above the ceramic. The pump works, I can see the water moving, but I am going to get a different pump so that the water will come up high enough so that my cat will drink from the fountain.
