Great microphone
This microphone is high quality, both in build and in audio quality. it is easy to setup with just needing to plug it in and following the included instructions to ensure that its volume is appropriate. The microphone comes included with a small tripod to mount it on to allow it to point towards the desired audio source (usually you). The microphone is a little heavy and the small tripod is prone to falling over if bumped but if you dont move it, it's perfectly adaquate. It can pick up voices with crystal clear quality making this a good mic for talking or recording. I bought this microphone to talk to people over the internet and to record my guitar, for this it is excellent. It can pick up the softest of plucks and the hardest of strums just fine making music recordings possible with it. along with its mount, it comes with a small carrying bag and a 2m cable making it easy to place anywhere you need. When plugged in it automatically installs its required drivers which include a virtual audio cable. This allows you to switch software to output its audio back into your microphone. This is very useful for things like soundboards where you want to blend sound effects with your voice. The microphone has a dial on the device to adjust the blend between the microphone's audio and its input from the virtual audio cable. The microphone also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack which allows you to hear your voice live without the delay usually caused from software's audio monitoring. The second dial controls the volume of this monitoring feature. Neither dial however controls its output volume to the computer. Overall, this is a wonderful microphone. It has everything a person might need in an audio input device. While it may seem expensive, in terms of audio equipment this is an affordable option without sacrificing quality.

The best mic on the market for live streaming and recording. Your voice has never sounded better.
Everything was perfect from packaging to setup. With this purchase you get an AT2020 Microphone, a tripod Stand, USB Cable, swivel adapter and a pouch. Being a USB microphone it is as easy as plug and play with both OSX and Windows. The sounds is amazing. Crystal clear, sharp and professional. It has a headphone jack to listen back and almost zero lag. There is two volume controls on the mic. One for headphones and the other as a monitor. I live in a noisy environment and was worried about it picking up to much. Just by using adjusting the microphone levels in your OS's settings it can work to how you want. Coupled with other programs it can do a lot more. For live recording.... Adobe Audition can process your voice to give it broadcasting/radio quality. In OBS (Open Broadcasting Software) the noise gate can be adjusted so it picks up your voice and not loud keystrokes. For stuff like Youtube or pre-recorded videos. The sound can be ran through Audacity or a number of programs and maximizes the sound quality due to the AT2020 being one of the best microphones on the market. In terms of quality this in my option beats the Blue Yeti hands down. Aesthetically its looks more pleasing to the eye and due to the slim design it will fit in most shock mounts/ mic stands. I know the Blue Yeti has trouble sliding into some stands. Do remember that this is a USB mic, so the advantage is you do not need a mixer to adjust the audio levels as with the AT2020 standard. It is all done digitally with whatever program you use. I also recommend buying a boom arm stand instead of using the standard tripod (more room for Keyboard and mouse) and a cheap pop shield like this one Mudder Recording Studio Microphone Mic Windscreen Pop Filter with Double Layer for streaming and gaming . If you have the space directly in front of your person then the tripod stand is sufficient. The only downside is the blue L.E.D. It is not distracting but when coupled with a green screen can shine a little. However you can always rotate the mic so the blue light is on the other side. There is no way to turn this light off but it is the only flaw on what I deem a perfect microphone. The sound is AMAZING!

Good Microphone but stuck to built in AD convertor
When researching into microphones the Audio Technica AT2020 is often recommended as it is modestly price and it sounds great too. From its success came the AT2020 USB microphone, but as with many early USB mics it lacked features such as headphone output which is must for many applications. This lead to the release of AT2020 USB+ microphone, an upgraded AT2020 USB bundled with accessories which include a small tripod desk stand, 10 foot USB cable and pop filter. This microphone is similar in design to the previous variants with a medium diaphragm 16mm cardioid mic. It is powered directly by a USB (type A to type B) cable where the connector takes the places of the previous XLR socket. The microphone has a self-noise figure of 20dB, which is not brilliant but is adequately low for most studio applications. There is no means of on the fly filtering so any necessary filters must be applied after recording. The USB side takes care of the 16bit Analog to Digital conversion which is convenient, but the user is restricted to this convertor. Headphones can be plugged into the phono jack socket on the side of the mic and there are two thumbwheels on the front of the device which control the headphone volume and the balance between the microphone signal and computer stereo output. The microphone is a class-compliant device and requires no additional driver to use on Apple operating systems and a suitable driver should download automatically on Windows (if not already installed). Recorded speech confirms that this mic has the same characteristic of the XLR variants but with the added warmth to the lower mids in vocals. It is well suited to all vocal styles and can double as a very capable acoustic instrument mic. The tripod stand carries the weight of the microphone very well and it is of very high quality. However it is prone to falling over if it is knocked. For audio recordings it is recommended to use the free software Audacity and apply software filers. However for our video recordings we use Camtasia (which does not support audio filters) and instead use Voice Shaper (intended for AM radio) combined with a virtual audio cable to filter audio on the fly.

Good quality and sturdy
The microphone is easy to use, good quality, and works well. It seems robust and is quite weighty, which does mean that the small tripod stand that came with it is not really stable enough to support it adequately - within an hour of opening the box, the microphone ended up on the floor because the little stand over-balanced when I moved it slightly. Hence the conclusion that the microphone seems robust, as falling from the desk to the floor didn't do any harm!

EASY TO USE AND GREAT QUALITY----
This microphone is truly phenomenal and provides many solutions to common home studio problems. First of all , this product was not bought on sight and i made sure to do my research before making the leap into making the purchase which in the condenser microphone industry was a relatively small leap. This product is a USB "plug-and-play" microphone which was particularly useful for me as i only have a laptop and the software to use as my home studio. The product is my second condenser microphone and i love the fact that i can just plug it into my USB slot and go. The sound quality is amazing and it is easy for a beginner to set up features like talk back, and control audio levels to the headphones which you plug in via a handy headphone jack on the side of the microphone itself. The finish of the product is nice although the actual microphone is more grey than black , it has a gritty look with bits of black speckled around the whole microphone creating nice effect. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to start recording vocals or instruments but doesn't want to splash the cash on expensive sound boards. Seller was great and arrived in immaculate condition.

Overall a fantastic microphone! Well worth the price.
I purcahsed this product over a year ago for podcasting but haven't started using until recently (hence the late review). The following are the pros and cons as I see them. Please keep in mind, I am an amateur and can't speak to the more technical aspects of the mic. Pros: 1) Quality - The most import aspect of this microphone is it's quality. I have used many mics in the past, but none come close to the AT2020+. 2) Background Noise - While it doesn't come with a windscreen, the mic doesn't seem to pick up much backgroudn noise. 3) Durability - The moment you hold this mic you can tell that it is well built. 4) USB - It's extremely convenient that you can plug the mic directly into your computer. 5) Stand - The stand that comes with the mic is quite convenient for podcasting; it saves you the need to purchase a seperate stand. 6) Volume - The mic features a volume control dial on the side, which I've been using quite often. 7) Price - While the mic is definitely not cheap, I find the price very reasonable given the quality. Cons: 1) Stand - While the stand is convenient, it takes a bit of getting used to in order to make it stand well. Also, if you want to use it for Twitch or gaming and don't want it infront of you, you'll likely have to purchase a more versatile stand. 2) Weight - This is not at all a problem for me, but others might find the mic a bit heavy. That being said, you'd be hard pressed to find a high quality microphone that isn't really on the heavy side.

Good for singers
Can confirm this will do the job if your using bandlabs on your phone, plug and play with an adapter. Vocal quality sounds great with singing, however if your doing direct monitoring (headphones in mic) you wont hear any autotune of fx your using, i get around this by just plugging my headphones straight to device. I have also used this during video conferences on my laptop and the quality is amazing! Condenses nicely. It feels luxury with the weight too. Volume controls on mic to choose if u want to hear the beat more or less, and volume control. Looks professional. Easy connectivity! Would reccomend for anyone on a budget !

Audio Technica Quality
A good few years back I had an XLR AT microphone that I loved the quality from. In January I had a need for a microphone but wasn't sure I would use it much, so I just bought a cheap USB microphone. For the price, it wasn't bad but a few month in and it started developing a fault. Since I found I was using a microphone more than I thought, I decided it was worth paying the extra for an AT based on my previous experience. It's good to see that their microphones still live up to my expectations. The sound quality is excellent and picks up a lot less background noise than my previous USB mic too. Build quality is great, it feels a nicely constructed bit of kit and looks the part......just a single blue light to indicate power without any of the flashy gamer stuff, this is good with me! I didn't use the desk stand, I have it on an arm, so can't comment on that. I'm glad I paid the extra now, I have found it very worthwhile and good to see AT still making quality products.
