Garrett Gold Panning Kit

I bought this as a gift for my adult son, who already uses Garrets products. He's absolutely delighted with it. Says its really well made, sturdy but still lightweight enough for carrying along with other equipment.

Excellent kit. Perfect kit for a beginner or regular panner. Fits well into my day bag and has everything you will need to begin your gold hunting.

The pans in the kit are brilliant as is the classifier. However the tweezers and magnifying glass might aswell not be included they're useless and unfortunately the lid of the snuffer bottle in my kit was cracked and this too was deemed completely useless. This is really unfortunate as I bought this kit as it's a little tricky to get one of these little bottles in my country without paying triple what it costs to get it posted.

Does the job.

I wanted to change up my steel pan and garden riddle for plastic to cut down on weight.The box was wrapped in brown paper, sealed well.After seasoning the pan, it was then noted that the classifying tray was cracked along three bars near the edge. The snuffer cap was also cracked all the way round meaning it was useless for the task.Eccentric pan was the main thing I liked and the small clean up pan will be easier on the wrists.Won't buy again.

This is my second review of this product. The first was to do with the brilliant service and delivery. This time, it is for the product. We have shares in a gold mine in Scotland and, fired up by this, I bought this product for my partner as a birthday present (who said romance is dead - who wouldn't want to be standing knee deep in a freezing river during a Scootish winter :-) ). My better half loved it and can't wait to use it.Gary
