Initial review as just opened it, it is very well made and fits the phone like a glove, yes it adds bulk but I think that's part of the compromise against the additional power you want.It feels premium in the hand, it does not interfere with my glass screen protector.I will give an update on the power usage after I have tested it fully, I would say this is definatly a travel / day out case.I have high hopes considering the cost.I need to do more testing, charged from 60-100% and the Colour of the Case LED is now Blue (25-50% Charge remaining) expected to see it at least green?********* UPDATE**********The case is proving to be a good investment, I would suggest it gives another 100% of battery usage, however it does get very hot while charging, I'm am not sure if this is normal?

Simple to install and all charging seems to be working just fine, time will tell for the ammount of charges I get out if the unit but even a single charge would be enough.I like the feel, the weigh and depth added suits me hands. Even though the recess is quite deep I have had no problem so far with the finger print sensor not working or being any harder to get to.The s pen is also easy to get out due to a tiny indent allowing you to click it out.

During the charging cycle the phone keeps beeping and the backlight operates constantly. Very annoying during the night. Also the the Samsung DeX station is not supported via the C connector which means that the phone has to be removed from the case to use the data connection.

Very impressive. Fits like a glove, protects all-round bar the screen and does what it says on the box. It does not add too much but for me I actually like the extra size.. fits in the hand just nicely and offers a firm grip to what is otherwise a skinny phone that slipped out of my hand in the past way too easily.Ok.... testing time. The phone, set on a lowish resolution and with certain battery saving functions in place, I have been able to get a 48hr run-time on the phone with still 5% left in the tank. I then switch on the battery bank and within 2.5hrs, it will charge the battery (to 100%) to give me another 48hrs of use plus the battery bank still has at least 25% - 40% plus left for additional back-up use. All-in-all I am seeing on my phone with my current use the possibility with moderate use (about 6x 3-5mins calls, lots of FB and WhatsApp messages and about 15mins/day of internet use), the possibility of at least 4days use maybe even five days use between charges... for me, that is impressive on a phone like this.

Great item but i do not like the texture of the case

This battery case fixes two problems of my note 8.First, the note 8 is fragile since it’s glass on both sides and quite large, if it falls it will usually break. Even though this case is quite heavy because of the battery it provides excellent protection to the phone thanks to the bumpers.Secondly, the note 8 has a massive screen and high resolution therefore the battery won’t last long. Since I started using this case I’m able to last a day of work and extra without needing to plug my phone in and even better by charging the case I also charge the phone.Highly recommended.

Charges the phone only once and runs out of battery Doesn't look like a 5500mAhAlso takes ages to charge itself

I don't have a problem with this battery case in my opinion it does what it supposed to do works well very pleased with it. I have charged my mobile twise since receiving it yesterday and still had some charge left over. The problem I do have is with the Q and A on the sellers page about if one can use a wireless charging pad. I tried 2 charging pads one a genuine Samsung and another expensive pad. None of them would charge mobile or battery case. This is the problem I do have missinformation unless there is something wrong with battery case, but I'm convinced the latter applies.
