Better the the carrot 🥕
Absolutely brilliant 2nd gen to the best pinpointer around.. Brought this to replace my 1st gen original garrett pro pointer because of the old on off button was the only flaw replacing 2 & there a right bugger to solder in & get back together 😡 Anyway I digress 😏 the v2 is a little heavier but feels night & day better with the improved on off button I was going to buy the carrot 🥕 but my friend has it & to much messing in different settings & it’s much thinner plastic to the fact it’s transparent when lights on 😳 This is on off PERFECT 👍 solid build like the first but with the carrot button 👌

The garret best buy love it
Love this pinpointer most people who's hobby is metal detecting say this is the best pinpointer and for a good reason Defenetly are great quality and far superior to a lot of makes out there, if you are thinking of purchasing have no fear it's a great pinpointer.

Lost it in the woods...
Very good pin-pointer, shame there is nowhere to track these things down if you go too far from the last find location. They should make them with a gps tracker in them. 109 pounds down the drain. Next time I have to strap it to my hand or neck.

Great piece of kit.
Great piece of kit, new to detecting, was advised to purchase a garrett, not disappointed. Does what it says, pinpoints in the mud.

I think that Garrett is the best pointer reliable and easy to use I also have got the Garrett carrot which is water proof, the black one is only splash proof but very good.

Great piece of kit
Started metal detecting last year and having got used to my detector, invested in the Garrett pro-pointer II. Amazing, makes close ID of the object so much easier and having got used to its noise, really pin points accurately.

Perfect
Got this for my dad as a gift because he goes out 'digging for gold' all the time. He's over the moon. Wanted a pin pointing detector for ages and you just can't go wrong with this one. Fantastic.

A very sturdy, solid build unit. My only gripe was that the battery it was sent with was probably faulty, the propointer wasn't working correctly when I first fired it up, despite the fact that it actually tested at 9V. I replaced it with a good alkaline 9V and all was good. The unit works like a charm now.

Vorteile: top Verarbeitung, robust, allgemein gut durchdacht, die Batterien halten sehr lange, trotz Vibration, obwohl er regelmäßig komplett unterwasser ist, war er immer dicht!, die Lautstärke ist sehr gut eingestellt, sehr gute Empfindlichkeit und Reichweite. Er funktioniert einfach hervorragend, ohne viel SchnickSchnack, für mich perfekt. Das einzige, was mir noch wünschen würde, wäre eine Stärkere LED. 12.02.2018 Kleiner Nachtrag: nach zwei Jahren intensiver Nutzung wurde er durch Schmutz und Verschleiß undicht und plötzlich war alles tot. Kein Mucks mehr vom Gerät. Darauf habe ich ihn auf die Heizung gelegt und nun funktioniert er wieder wie am ersten Tag. Unglaublich Robust!
