Ok so it's only been a week since I've had this amazing hook and I know now that I'll never be going back to using other hooks. I put the hook up straight away and used it took hold my washing line up and all I can say is wow, very impressive. This is like no hook I've seen before, it's four inches of galvanised pleasure. It held the washing line up well and never once looked like it could break. After hanging out my laundry I went back inside the house knowing I could leave my clean washing safely in the care of this little bad boy.It polishes up so well and just sits there gleaming in my garden. I'm the envy of the street. One neighbour asked where I got it from so he could try to keep up, another has been hit by the green eyed monster and no longer speaks to me. Overall I'm incredibly pleased with this hook and would recommend it to anyone. I've ordered more to give out to friends and colleagues and Christmas.

The cleat seems fine. The enclosed screws are the softest and most useless I have encountered in 60+ years. One sheared in half as I was screwing it in with a hand screwdriver, leaving the end stuck in the door post. Even before that, the slots were flaking. However, the cleat works fine when I use better quality screws.

Jackie I am a socialist and a Eurosceptic because I believe that the European Union is being run to favour the banks at the expense of workers. I think that the neo-liberal economic system has resulted in a situation where poor people are trailing round Europe to fill unskilled posts, uprooting themselves from their culture and breaking up their families, leaving their old people behind. I think that this situation favours banks, companies who do not have to pay more than the minimum wage however hard you work or whatever new skills you acquire. It favours people who already own houses and who can get a buy to let mortgage sometimes run a large number of buy to lets. It favours recruitment firms who don't have to advertise factory jobs here at all and can get big fat commissions from hiring from the EU. It means that people from EU countries instead of fighting for better working conditions and social provision in those countries move to countries like the UK and undermine those same things here. I did however vote to remain as I do believe in a socialist Europe where people from across Europe fight for decent working conditions, health, housing and education. The politicians and the business elites helped by the academic institutions and the Media however undermine at every turn any hint of working class unity and while I think that despair is a sin I am disappointed not so much at the result as I think that working class people have been treated with total disrespect but at the lack of critical thinking and laziness in thinking that pervades modern culture and a willingness to give power over to people who are so obviously dishonest.

Just needed something to be resistant to the sea air and this is perfect for the job. Well galvanised.
