Excellent mug, second purchase to replace the first one which my daughter put in the dishwasher. THEY ARE NOT DISHWASHER SAFE. Hot liquid reveals the secret message. Dishwashers rip up the special wrap which allows this. They are a chunky standard mug underneath. Unfortunately my other daughter put the second mug in the dishwasher, and I won’t pay for a third. Sorry youngest daughter.

The mug looks great and the heat change function works perfectly. However the paint started to peel almost immediately and after a few weeks I took the paint off and used it as a regular mug. I would recommend it but id advise against regular use in order to keep it in good condition.

So much fun! As much as the heat changing part is cool, it also practically helps me to know if I've let my tea go cold with a quick glance! A gift any Potter fan will love - children and adults alike. Had this for a year now and it has not faded/heat change is still working and it even survived the dishwasher (which the instructions say not to do) when my dad forgot!

Rápido cómodo y lo que yo quería

Hallo liebe Leute, zunächst kann ich sagen, dass die Tasse schnell geliefert worden ist und in einem schönen Karton ankommt, sodass es mit ein bisschen Geschenkpapier sofort als Geschenk taugt. Sie soll auch als Geschenk dienen, aber da ich in einigen Bewertungen von angeschlagenen Tassen gelesen habe, wollte ich sie einmal herausnehmen und testen. Zu meinem Glück war die Tasse nicht beschädigt und hatte auch absolut keine Blasen in der Lasierung. Daher kann ich die Kritik nicht bestätigen und bin mit der Optik sehr zufrieden. Au Kritik: Der einzige Kritikpunkt für mich ist, dass die Tasse nur mit kochendem Wasser ihre Farbe geändert hat (Teewasser). Bei lauwarmen oder heißem Wasser aus der Leitung passierte zuerst nichts... ich weiß leider nicht, ob sich später noch die Farbe verändert hätte, aber durch die Langsamkeit geht auf jeden Fall der coole Effekt verloren. Aber da aus dieser Tasse sowieso eher Tee und Kaffee getrunken wird, ist das in meinem Fall kein großes Problem aber man sollte es doch wissen. Fazit: Die Tasse ist für diesen Preis ein toller Merchandiseartikel für Harry Potter Fans und ich freue mich auf das Gesicht meiner Freundin, die diese Tasse bekommen soll. Ich bin voll zufrieden und gebe deshalb volle fünf Sterne. Auch deshalb, weil der Kritikpunkt nicht dem Produkt angelastet werden kann, sondern grundsätzlich bei diesen Farbwechselprodukten auffällt. Auch das die Tasse nicht spülmaschinenfest ist, ist der Farbwechsel-Lasierung geschuldet und wenn einen das stört muss man sich ganz einfach eine andere Tasse kaufen. Für mich ist das Produkt wie beschrieben und es gefällt mir wirklich gut :)

This mug is exactly what I expected it to be! It's perfect. The picture is wrapped all the way around, it's straight, the colour-changing effect works really well, and the overall size of the mug is ideal. What you see is really what you get with this item. I would definitely recommend this product to those interested. So far I have not washed it in the dishwasher, as it is a gift for someone. If the paint starts to fade or chip I will update this review. Otherwise, no news is good news! I hope this review helped.

This was a great gift for my Harry Potter friend. I wanted to keep it for myself once I saw it and I might but another, because I loved it so much. It's not like the other basic changing mauraders map mugs that always fade back to black. It is special with uniqueness. This is a mug that is worth every penny! Please, resist the urge to by from one of the others. This is the one you or that loved one has been looking for! You will not be disappointed!
