Beautiful classically Colombian Coffee
Lovely coffee! Would recommend it to anyone for a lovely coffee at a reasonable price. Little bitterness not to heavily roasted and that beautiful smooth flavor that instantly marks it out as Colombian. Didn’t last long for me to comment on how fresh the beans stayed. But I can say that they produced a beautifully fresh smooth aromatic coffee from the first cup to the last and all that and they contribute to the bears charity. A counterpoint to the hedonistic indulgence of the coffee 😉❤️

Best Coffee for ages
I’ve had some disappointing coffee of late so reticent about trying brown bear. In the event it was/is delicious. Super tasty and a wonderful aroma. Well done. Hg

Great coffee at the price
Dont be misslead by the name, its not Jamaican blue mountain, just some clever marketing, it doesn't cost £100 a killo either, what it is though is very good value for money, as an every day coffee, it tastes amazing, medium slow roast means that there is no bitterness to this coffee, it has a long finish with undertones of nuts and caramel, smooth and rich with a pretty full body.Delivery is always quick as well, not the cheapest you will find, but that's not what this coffee is about I have found nothing better at the price, and many equals at about 20 - 30 % more expensive. This is a fantastic everyday coffee.Handy that it comes in 2 size options as well a small bag to try it out and a 1 kg bagDefinitely recommend

The smell and taste are another level
I rarely review things on Amazon but from the moment I opened the bag and gave it a whiff I knew I’d picked the right coffee for me. I was aware I preferred Columbian coffee anyway, but the taste and smell of this is next level. Fruity and nutty notes, nice and smooth without being bitter. Doubt I’ll be looking elsewhere for coffee any time soon. Soooooo good.

Unlikely to purchase again
I bought this twice. The 1st time was direct from their website and for a friend. I read good reviews and they give 5% to Free the Bears UK charity. My friend said it smelt aromatic and tasted better than what she was used to. My experience however was not so good!In a nutshell....Though palatable, this is the most UN-Columbian Columbian coffee I have tasted!I saw they sold on Amazon and was miffed to see that delivery was free on amazon but not on their website if less than £35. Delivery was fantastic as I received the coffee the next day. BUT....when I opened the bag there was a distinct lack of aroma that I am used to and definitely it did not smell fresh. I will add that these looked under roasted for a Columbian and may explain a few observances. When I made my first cup it certainly tasted like old coffee without much flavour. Maybe I am not used to drinking or dealing with lighter roasts of coffee. It could have been my technique so I gave it a while. I have ground this coffee at various grinds from fine to coarse, used different timings and used aeropress, moka pot, cafetiere and brew stick. My espresso machine is out of action but this would have made no difference as for me the best method for me with this coffee is course grind immersion. From grinding to coffee prep, there was very little aroma filling the house. For me this coffee was bitter and didn't have as a pleasant taste or the taste I am used to from Columbian coffee. There is no date of roasting on the bag so freshness cannot be ascertained. There is however a date of expiry! That said, it is still better than your generic Lavazza coffee (of which I have given the all bags away as I cannot yet finish one), and it is definitely an upgrade from instant. It is certainly better than some of of the store bought bean coffee. Yet though my mother is happy enough with this coffee, she prefers the non-fresh Columbian coffee from Costco.I have almost finished the bag, and even though I have not given it away, it has been a chore and a not so enjoyable drinking process but I have gotten used to it. I have enjoyed playing around with different settings and methods though.Love the Brown Bear logo though. Shame!

Best bean to cup coffee for all round flavour 😊
I bought a bean to cup coffee machine six months ago and have tried out just about every product available in the supermarkets .I have since tried coffees from Internet sites and this Brown Bear Real Colombaim Coffee is absolutely the best I have tried .It has a beautiful mellow, aromatic flavour that doesn't leave a bitter aftertaste in your mouth, it doesn't matter what sort of coffee I make ...latte, flat white, espresso, Americans, whatever the taste it is always wonderful.
