The drain plug hole on my 6.7 Cummins is quite large at 18mm and also sits up high so the volume of oil that comes out when you pull that plug regardless of having a drain pan under and ready still makes a mess because it splashes. This makes a nice controlled stream and no mess. I’ve since gotten a few other people to buy one, I’ve bought one for my brother as a gift and I’ve put one on both of my cars. Great product and great price.

Got this to use on a 2014 Ram 3500 with Cummins Turbo Diesel. It works PERFECTLY. It includes a gasket and is very easy to install. Once on, don't worry about it. It doesn't open by itself, and doesn't stick down too far. As another review said, it's just behind the axle, so it would take a lot for it to get hit. It made draining the engine way too easy. Use it with the EZ-H001 and a 3.5 gallon bucket from Home Depot with a Gamma-seal lid. Put a short length of hose on the H001, screw it onto the EZ-104, take the top off the bucket and slide it under, and open the EZ-104. Wait until it stops dripping, close the EZ-104 valve, and unscrew the H001. Slide the bucket out and put the lid on, and take it to an auto parts place to dump the oil. To get the oil filter out from the side, use a REAL 1-gallon ZipLoc slider FREEZER bag, and drop it in when you unscrew it. Seal the bag and pull it out from the side. Real ZipLoc freezer bags are thick enough that they won't rip when you pull it out from the side. Absolutely NO spilled oil with this method.

Didn't come with the dust cap though, emailed the seller, they sent one out right away!!!

Keeps a messy job clean. I've had this installed on my 6.7 Cummins for 4 years now and have not had a single drip. Get the hose adapter and a short piece of hose and oil changes are actually mess free and enjoyable
