Looks and sounds cool
Easy to install and lasted all summer. The flow of water is decent and sounds relaxing when hits the water. The lights could be brighter but still neat feature at night.

A great pool addition for two old folks.
My wife had to have this for an early mother’s day gift. We have a 10 foot by 30 inch intex pool. You have never seen 2 slightly over 60 year olds enjoy a small pool like we do. Swimming in it is one thing. We really enjoy just sitting and watching it. This waterfall has doubled our pleasure. I installed it earlier today and we are both sitting here on the deck just mesmerized by looking at it and listening to the cascading water. I was sure to mount it so that it faces us while setting on the deck. The lights are not super bright but are noticeable especially now that it is getting dark. Do not expect this thing to shoot water across your pool. It is what it says, a waterfall. Also pay attention to what instructions say about minimum pump flow. I upgraded the system on our pool to a saltwater system with sand filter and 1050 gph pump. Our water stays crystal clear and I so enjoy floating in my man sized pool recliner while the pump rotates me around. Another great thing about this waterfall is that it comes with a 2 position valve that allows you to send water to the waterfall or you can send it to the water outlet in the pool. I can’t say anymore positive things about it. Listening to it and watching it is putting us to sleep. If you want a relaxing addition to your pool just get one.

The media could not be loaded. I initially hooked this up to a 2500 gph Intex pump. I thought it worked ok, but water would splash out of the pool a little bit and I could hear the whine of the led light generator inside of the unit. A lot of people have complaints about the hydro generator burning out. After a few days, my pump started to fade (not pump with usual power) and I could feel the pump housing getting very warm. The motor was working too hard. I thought it was the pump failing. I disconnected the diverter for the waterfall and reconnected to just the original pool return jet. The pump cooled down and started working as it should. I looked inside of the diverter. The holes for water to flow through the diverter are much smaller than the pipe feeding the water through. I think the flow restriction was enough to put excess stress on the pump motor, and that why it was overheating and fading. For another $50, I bought an Intex 1000 gph pump, along with a few adapters, and hooked the waterfall to it. Yes, I don't get as strong of flow as I did with the 2500 gph pump, but I also don't get the splashing or hydro-generator whine from the unit anymore. I think the 1000gph pump is the sweet spot. This unit would be great if Intex improved water flow through the diverter and beefed up the hydro-generator so it wouldn't burn out. I can see why there are so many complaints about that.

With big filter very noisy and night lights on/smaller filter very quiet with no lights on
UPDATE 6/30/22: This waterfall works wonderfully on the SMALLER 1,500 gph filter motor sent with the 9 x 18 rectangular INTEX pool, -but the colored LIGHT at night DOES NOT WORK WITH THE LOWER pressure. The bigger 3,000 gallon per hour pump/16" inch sand filter is really needed to really keep the 4,500 gallons of water clean, -but it makes a constant grinding NOISE on this CASCADE waterfall unit, but the colored lights DID work then. I keep it on now the SMALLER pump. PUT PIECES OF JAR OPENER RUBBER SHEET FROM THE GROCERY STORE UNDER THE TWO SCREW BRACES ON THE SIDE OF THE POOL TO KEEP IT IN PLACE, ALSO A SMOOTH WOOD OR PVC TRIM PIECE UNDER THE UNIT DOWN TO THE DIVERTER HANDLE TO KEEP IT UPRIGHT. I USED A 2 1/2" X 1/2" ABOUT 10 " lONG TO KEEP IT UPRIGHT AND NOT LEAN BACK WITH THE WEIGHT OF THE 2 LONG HOSES AND DUE TO THE CONTOUR SHAPE OF THE ULTRAFRAME POOL. Maybe the diverter it gives with it can hook up to my SOLAR PANELS, as it is less pressure on the smaller pump. (My bigger pump just blows out everything I hook up to the solar panels.) Older post;( 5/29/22 Just got this. Easy enough to install, haven't used it yet, as I just got the INTEX ultraframe 9 x 18 rectangular filled and up and running for Memorial weekend. Thought this would be a nice feature. But hey, (I am slow) you have to have the filter pump running for this to work. And we are not supposed to be in the pool when pump is on??? Even says so on the INTEX website Q and A. Does anyone have feedback on this. Yes, I have it plugged into a GFCI outlet! Update; waterfall is great -but haven’t turned on at night yet. The Turn nuts are stupid, doesn’t hold up the unit on the sidewall with a hose attached full of water. Slides backward. Put on a longer hose to come from the sand filter or salt chlorinator. WHAT THE HECK ARE THE 2 SHORT HOSES FOR THAT COME WITH IT? Diverter attaches directly to the cascade unit up on the pool edge, then you need a LONG hose to come from the filter part on the ground.

Nice, simple water feature
The media could not be loaded. Easy to install, comes with valve you need. This provides a nice water feature and sound to relax while you're floating around. This is not a fountain or sprinkler which is perfect for kids but when you just want to relax the waterfall is perfect!
