Fantastic content
A really fantastic, informative book. I work in acute care already but there are alot of little 'tit bits' that I have picked up from this book. It has also helped solidify/refresh my current knowledge. I like the pictures which helps me as a visual learner. A very good book for the new nurse.Well worth buying, now has pride of place on my bookcase. On the back of the book it advises there maybe some spelling mistakes, there are some which, I have advised the author. The author was very kind and gracious and appreciated the feedback.Besides this it is very much worth the bookcase residency! Still worth the 5* rating for relevant content and lack of waffle.

not very helpful and over priced.
i am a student nurse (second year adult nursing) and as part of our module we have to prepare for a clinical discussion using ABCDE assessment and intervention on acute care emergency, on any possible 9 conditions.i was hoping this book would be useful but was not. very little information and for £20! not worth it in my opinion and did not use it in my referencing.if your a student nurse and looking for a book to help with nursing assessment and intervention i would recommend 'Acute & Critical Care in Adult Nursing' by Tait, Williams, Barton & James. i found this much more useful.

Educative
I do not only like but love the book because it is not only informative but also very educative and easy to understand.I would recommend this book to nurses, other health workers and even individuals as well because we all need to have a certain level of information about health and well-being.I chose the 5 star rating because it’s actually worth it
