Creamy and not as bitter as many traditional dark chocolates
If you are a fan of dark chocolate, you MUST try TCHO Chocolate Bars! I have had the opportunity to try several varieties and they are all SO GOOD!!! There are so many delicious varieties to choose from! You get three 2.5 oz packages of this yummy chocolate. Inside each package, there are 3 individually wrapped bars. Each bar has three break away squares. (so, you are getting 9 squares of chocolate per package) I hope that makes sense, LOL! The chocolate itself is definitely premium quality - no chalkiness or waxy texture. Just smooth, delicious dark chocolate. 75% cacao is pretty dark but it surprisingly isn't unpleasantly bitter. Some dark chocolate can lean towards the flavor of baking chocolate. Flat, bitter, and no depth whatsoever. This is full of yummy, rich, bold flavor! The inside of each square is slightly softer than the outer shell. Not smooth and creamy like a traditional truffle but still detectable. You get a little bit of the almond butter flavor but the layer is quite thin and does get overshadowed by the rich, bold taste of the dark chocolate. I honestly didn't taste a whole lot of nuttiness. Not a problem for me since I love the taste of dark chocolate but I was honestly expecting a little more almond flavor. For anyone with dietary and/or environmental concerns, this chocolate is USDA organic, vegan, kosher, non GMO, non-dairy, soy free, and fair trade certified. HIGHLY recommend this brand!

Long time tcho fan, deeply disappointed
I’ll start by saying I have loved Tcho for years and was an avid consumer, but the rebrand has been a huge disappointment. I like the packaging but not the new recipe. The bars had white discoloration—the texture is waxy and doesn’t melt in your mouth. Let’s go back to the old recipe and flavors!!

Easy snack.
Love these. Hard to find locally. One section gets me all the way to dinner during the day.

This seller sold inedible product. My order is not eligible for return the day after delivery!!
I've purchased this product before and loved it. The almond butter should be soft and creamy, and the chocolate dark and shiney. This looks like the product was handled in a way that ruined it, it's all dry and powdery in the middle. It tastes terrible. I'm very frustrated it's not eligible for return or refund given the fact it's not edible.

Non-Dairy Dark Chocolate Bars with Almond-Butter Filling
The ingredient list of these non-dairy dark-chocolate bars feature almonds in three ways: almond butter (the filling), almond protein (mixed in somewhere), and diced almonds (I didn't detect them -- too tiny -- but presumably mixed in with the chocolate, the filling, or both). They do not contain any dairy or artificial sweeteners. The chocolate itself was decent, though not enough to make a strong impression, and the filling was fine, not overly sweet as in a name-brand peanut butter cup. This was a "hard" chocolate, not smooth and creamy like milk chocolate. Each 2.5 thin-cardboard box contains three individually wrapped bars, each of which was scored to be broken into three square chunks, so the packaging lends itself very well to portion control. However, the individual bars all had a white haze or discoloration, making them look old or perhaps damaged by overheating, such that I would be a bit embarrassed offering them to others. One of the bars (pictured) had some light orange discoloration at the edges, which I attribute to the filling leaking out, but I only saw this in one bar. I don't know if these defects in appearance affected the taste. Before evaluating these myself, I had offered these to five guests after a recent dinner party, and got these evaluations and comments: Guest 1 - taste was mediocre compared to other brands of dark chocolate. Guest 2 - bars had very little smooth or buttery taste which would have been preferred. Guest 3 - the chocolate texture was consistently too hard. Guest 4 - looked up the price and thought it was too expensive (IMO, because they have a "virtue" premium) Guest 5 - found no salty taste even though the products states “sea salt” in the ingredients list. All -- said they would not purchase this product on their own. All -- noticed "bloom" evident on the chocolate, which looks like white spots on the surface. This can often happen when chocolate is out of date. While these bars may not have been brand new, they were consumed over five months before their expiration date of 9/23/23. All -- very much liked the better-than-average packaging. Keep in mind that these bars are non-dairy, and none of the tasters (including me) have a dietary need to avoid dairy. So, none of us have the experience to compare these bars with other non-dairy products. What I can say is that these bars are unlikely to be competitive in taste, texture, and price with dairy-based choices. If you have the need for non-dairy, I'd say try these, your experience may vary.

Better than most dark chocolate
Normally, I'm really not a huge fan of dark chocolate and prefer regular chocolate if I have a choice. However, I do eat it because I feel it's healthier. This is a three pack that has small individually wrapped bars. They have really high quality ingredients, and because of our food allergies this is something that we can eat. Oh my goodness, this is the first dark chocolate that I have ever eaten that I have thought tasted amazing. It is so good. Dark chocolate just usually has this very strong taste to it, and this isn't like that. It's creamy, and the filling in the middle is really good. My 8-year-old thinks it is also really yummy. We tried to avoid eating junk food or a bunch of sugar, but I believe everything in moderation is key. I definitely feel more confident about the ingredients in this where I actually feel I'm doing my body good. Now, if I ate every single bar in these packets in one sitting, that probably won't be great. Lol. I have tried cacao nibs from this brand, and I loved them too. Everything feels premium quality and I know our bodies appreciate it. I would try everything this brand has because of being impressed so far.
