Q: Price says “0.19 per ounce” but it’s actually $0.76 per ounce. Amazon, what’s up with your “price per unit” formulas????

Regardless of the price per ounce, they are sold by the package and the package price dictates. I noticed others had a varying price per ounce depending on packaging.

Q: How are these $0.43/oz? Math says they're over $3/oz.

They are not cheap. I remember paying about 2.50 per bag of 2 oz. So they are close to 1.25 per oz. I think that you can do better with another company that sells them in a larger package. I just wanted to try them first.

Q: Are these hazelnuts blanched?

Honesty I am not sure. They are long gone lol. I bought them to decorate the torte and all I remember is that they were tasty. This was a small pouch so even if they are not blanched and you love baking like me you will not waste them. No skin mostly, so clean and chopped.
