Review: I thoroughly enjoyed learning from this book. It was required for a graduate course on thermodynamics, and I found it very easy to read and the problems were helpful. My previous experience in thermodynamics was with Engel and Reid's Thermodynamics, Statistical Thermodynamics, & Kinetics, which took an approach that focused on the laws of thermodynamics. I much preferred the postulaic approach. It was more intuitive and mathematical. I understood thermodynamics much better in this context, since you are introduced to properties was mathematical relations instead of immediately presenting physical interpretation without the formalism. Some of the figures have typos, I think. There were a couple axes that didn't make any sense. But all in all, excellent textbook! Review: Alles

Callen's Book is an excellent reference for the subject. However, the problem is about the quality of the materials employed to make it. It is not possible that one can print the book in better conditions without any expertise compare with what you get with this book.
