So far so good.
I bought this because Meta only records in 30s to 3m clips at a time and did not want to keep transferring video. When you download this app you can record 4k 30p and turn loop recording off. I bought this for recording more angles when we are doing run and gun filming for the Phantom of Florida paranormal channel on YT. I just tested it for a few minutes, and the picture quality is pretty sharp. We already record audio to the Sony cam, but this will help sync the footage up. The gimbal is good in the up and down motion but not as good when tilting your head left/right "like how dogs tilt when they look like they are trying to understand what you're doing" But I think this is a great purchase for an action camera for extra points of view. If this works out, I will update on if I buy another one to add to our production quality.

Game-Changing Hands-Free Camera for Creators and Travelers
absolute must-have for anyone who loves vlogging, traveling, or recording hands-free content. The head-mounted design is super convenient — it captures exactly what I see, making it perfect for POV videos, tutorials, and travel clips. The video quality is crystal clear at 4K 60FPS, and the 2-axis gimbal stabilizer keeps footage incredibly smooth even when I’m walking or moving quickly. The auto focus feature is fast and accurate, ensuring everything stays sharp without having to adjust anything manually. I also love the Wi-Fi and app control, which makes it easy to preview, transfer, or edit videos right from my phone. The remote control adds even more convenience when shooting alone. Battery life is impressive, and the device feels lightweight but durable. It’s comfortable to wear for extended recording sessions and doesn’t feel bulky at all.

Good camera with remote, poor app & marginal instructions.
Impressive video quality, the audio is generally good but sometimes gets crackly for a few seconds. I have not tried to use the phone app for viewing the video during recording. As others stated the only way to check or change the settings is using the app through a phone wifi connection, which was pretty awkward to use. The small remote was generally useful, however for my use there often was a lot of background noises making it was very hard to hear the camera voice (barely audible in a quiet setting) saying the commands (eg., "start recording" or "stop recording"). And the camera did not always start recording when commanded from the remote so I was never quite sure if it actually was recording. Another problem is one must be careful when using the record button that is on the camera itself because if it is pressed too long it will cause the camera to change from 16 x 9 images to 9 x 16 images. The first time that happened it caused me to loose some valuable footage because of the wrong viewing angle and I was unaware that it did that until after downloading the files to my laptop. After that, I only use the remote which as far as I know, cant change the orientation. The card that comes with the camera holds about 50 GB which is about 90 minutes of video when using the default setting of 2.7K/30 fps. Battery seems to last about that long as well. Overall I am pleased with the camera after figuring out all of the minor issues.

The actual camera is fairly decent.. 1080P is pretty much useless looks like a cell phone from 2003. 4k@60fps looks fairly decent but the file sizes are absolutely enormous. Anyways- the reason for the 1 star review: the bracelet only works about 5% of the time. It's an integral part of the device and it's one of the reasons I purchased it. I've tried everything, charging, resetting the camera, everything. Every time I go to use it when i'm actually filming, it never works. The light goes on when I hit the button but it does nothing to the camera. It sometimes works randomly when i'm home messing with it. But never out in the field. I emailed the company several days ago and got NO response. Also, the app is pretty bad and doesn't actually save the photos anywhere on your phone even when you press 'download'. I would avoid this product and just get a GoPro or something. Sooo dissapointed.

Promising Design, Disappointing Camera Quality
I was initially excited about the Ordro EP8 4K Head-Mounted Video Camera, especially with its sleek design and the promise of hands-free recording at Ultra HD 4K 60FPS. The 2-axis gimbal video stabilizer and the included 64G Micro SD card are great additions. The device itself is lightweight, comfortable to wear, and the design is impressive—perfect for vlogging or capturing adventures without needing to hold a camera. However, despite its promising features, the camera quality is a significant letdown. The 4K resolution doesn't deliver the sharpness and clarity expected from a product at this price point. The autofocus struggles, especially in low-light conditions, and the video output often appears grainy and lacks detail. Even with the gimbal stabilizer, footage can be shaky, making it difficult to produce professional-looking videos. The idea behind the Ordro EP8 is solid, but the execution leaves much to be desired. If you're looking for a stylish, hands-free camera, this might work for casual use. However, if top-notch video quality is a priority, you may want to consider other options.

Great deal great product will purchase more
Man i cant rave enough about this item im planning on getting a couple more for the the crew i was gonna go with the ray ban meta but lack of storage and 3 min record length put me off and decided to get this its so easy to use and setup and it supports continuous recording 4k recording even if it caps at 5 minutes it still records non stop in 5 min increments which makes it easy to edit has short battery life but you can attach a power bank and charge it to it while recording also your phone has to be close to it for it to work and when your phone looses connection its disconnects but easy to reconnect and you can easily swap memory i use the max 256gb and that records pretty much all day
