This is an excellent starter Special Effects pack. As a retired nurse, I was well equipped to emulate wounds! The wax needs to be moulded in your hands before shaping and you do need a pot of Vaseline to help sculpt the wax to the skin edges. The fake blood remains sticky so be mindful. It’s very comfortable make up to wear just a pain removing it. I used thread to make sutures. There are lots of good videos on YouTube to help with application.

Me and the kids were attempting to do Halloween make up really good for money, quick delivery , the liquid latex does stink like cat wee and it’s very strong but all in all fantastic value

You get what you pay for really. Main issue is even with warming in hands before application, the wax still kinda feathers and thins like pvc glue. Very hard to blend with the skin as it sticks to things; both spatula and fingers. Mixes really weird with spirit gum too I found and made it even harder to blend once on the place you wanted it. The end product weirdly looks like hard baked clay than anything. But still, I imagine for a try-out or first go, this is a good alternative to more expensive brands.

Very cheap bruise make up was poorly pigmented and wore off within a couple of hours. The coagulated bottle of blood was exactly that. Arrived with the lid half off and the blood had dried up.
