I carry my tension in my neck and shoulders. A few months ago, I was hurting so bad that I could barely turn my head. I decided to give this pillow a try and I have not looked back. I still have tension in my neck but it is sooooo much better!!! I can’t sleep without this pillow. It does take some getting used to, but now I don’t know what I would do without it.

I have lost height. I have a dowagers hump. My head tilts forward more with age. Honestly, one night using this neck pillow I see hope. I had comfort finally and feel a bit sore with my body trying to stand straighter. I am impressed and will post more after a couple of months. Jane

This is the only sleeping pillow that actually puts the cervical spine in a natural position. Every other one that claims to do so, even the chiropractic butterfly shaped pillows, fail because they have an elevated platform for the head to rest on. This one manages to cushion the head for comfort while sleeping but not sacrifice posture, since the cushioning has a slight downslope where the head lies. There’s no excess material above the head so you can also travel easily with it. Do not go for a more expensive option, because really the requirements for a pillow like this are incredibly simple, but this one is the only one I’ve ever seen execute it properly.

Is it smaller than I imagined? Yes. Is the neck valley not very pronounced? Yes. Have I gotten really good nights rest with this? Yes! I usually don’t sleep on my back but I can feel my airway staying open when I actually sleep on my back which keeps me from snoring. I eventually switch to my side and the elevated portion on either side of the neck valley of the pillow are a really good height for my shoulder depth to keep my head parallel with my spine.I will also say that this pillow isn’t as luxurious as a regular pillow in terms of plushness bc it’s very firm. It’s not lay my head on a cloud and fall right asleep but it’s a trade off I’ll take for being able to sleep throughout the night once I settle in.

I feel like I've had this a lot longer than I have. It's not been quite two weeks, and I have noticed a difference almost immediately. To back track, I had a very poor bed months ago that I absolutely loved but I was pretty close to feeling the springs so when a friend of mine offered me a new bed that was used for a week, I jumped.My new bed was super comfy but I just kept waking up every morning with the sore neck shoulders and upper back like a hanger. I love my pillows and did not have this painful problem with my previous bed/pullow situation.I really didn't have the money to buy a new bed or buy new pillows or anything. But I bought this because I was desperate for some relief. After 4 months I couldn't take it anymore. It hurt to roll over it, hurt to get out of bed. It was just so painful.This magic little pillow arrived and I was skeptical because I was just so afraid nothing would work and I'd always be pained.I noticed relief immediately. I have not quite figured out how to lay on my side with it properly, because when my neck is in the right position I feel like my head is tilted towards the floor. Aside from that, I have started sleeping on my back more though I am 95% side sleeper.I might have to seek out the extra insert and see if thar helps me more.The only problem I have is that two of my cats also like this pillow, so I might need to buy another. I can kick one-off, no problem, he's a piece of cake he'll sleep anywhere but the other one I just don't have the heart to make her move even if it causes me pain.I would highly recommend trying this out if you are having upper back/shoulder/neck pain. It really can't hurt more than the pain that you're already dealing with.

First, did not arrive on time. Not a big deal, except, I had already canceled it, and, it came a few days later, anyway. Wearimg a lable that said "overnight shipping" . When tracking delivery, the delay reason was wet weather.If you are ordering items and counting on delivery as stated, because . . .1. You won't be home,2. You are trying to beat bad weather.3. You are an impulse buyer who needs delivery before common sense kicks in.4. You need delivery before your husband gets home.. . .then, you will not be happy with the delay in "overnight delivery".It arrived in a box. Top of box covered with tape lable that stated that the item was unsellable if the tape had bern broken. I mention that because the bottom of the box was not taped the same way, and, it was a folded pull out flaps type of bottom, meaning that anybody could have neatly opened and reclosed the box.As far as product expectations go, it DID NOT meet my expectations and purchase reason based upon the pictures or description on Amazon. I was looking for a pillow that had an indentation for the back of your head to sit into, so that your head was in a "zero gravity" neutral position. The picture made it look like the person's neck was neatly cradled and the head was nicely supported and NOT being pushed upward. . . .which pushes your chin toward your chest. That isn't the case AT ALL. The neck indentation is barely an indentation. Your neck isn't going to be supported in a little cradle spot. Your head is NOT going to be neutral at all as there isn't any design for that.It's a pillow. It's foam. It's covered. It's not a plush, soft cover. It a soft cover with a rather abrasive/irritating pattern. It's not goi ng to do what I want as a back sleeper.It DID work as a bed pillow in the electric bed while in the "sitting upright position" to crochet, comfortably.I would not recommend this product if you are buying it because you are hoping for a pain free might with your head supported, your neck not pushing your chin toward your chest, or, an open airway with your neck cradled.
