Excellent handgun storage BUT not for critical defense situations
The media could not be loaded. Well built safe with cool features. Added a couple of aftermarket rubberized-foam with plastic frame “racks” to place inside. Had to remove rubberized foam from one of the plastic frames so they both would fit as inside diameter is just a tad to narrow otherwise. I love this safe and want to give it 5 stars but biometric thumbprint feature is NOT 100% reliable and after several unsuccessful attempts to open will make you wait several minutes until you can try again. A nice security feature but NOT good if you’re really needing a stored gun in a critical home defense situation. I still must use another option bedside for that. Otherwise this fills a great need for me in my closet for safe secure storage for my mix of handguns to choose for carry when getting dressed. Based on my experience I would say the biometric fingerprint feature works 65% of the time. Strange. Of course there is the 4 digit code to use instead. Fit and finish and overall weight and durability are impressive.

Regret this purchase..
I really had high hopes for this safe. Aesthetic and construction wise it’s great, but the finger print scanner is a flop. I have 0% success even after trying to reset my print multiple times. Wish I had listened to the other reviewer who called out the same thing. The only way to open is using the keypad which is not only inconvenient but in a quick action scenario if you need to access your firearm it won’t work. I’ll end up needing to find something else so waste of money at this point. Do yourself a favor and keep looking.

Opens 20% of the time
The finger print scan and digital codes work fine as you can hear it accept them but the door itself doesn't pop open and we end up having to enter code or scan again while using a small flat head screw driver to assist it to pop open. This happens majority of the time and it is pretty annoying. Don't get this is you need quick access in case of an emergency.

Fingerprint and code input stop working after 2 months
The finger print and code input don’t work anymore after having it for 2 months. Only access is using the key. And yes the instructions were followed.
