Great for kiddo!
This is a great starter magic set. My 7 year old has had a ball with it. The dvd it comes with is helpful in showing the tricks, how to do the tricks, and then there is a booklet that also has the instructions.

Good fun, value for money
My son enjoyed magic box in entirety. He was busy for the whole day. It reminds me of his smily face when showing tricks to us. It is a good toy and keeps kid interested in magic good to great value for money!

Easy and Basic Magic
This is a really easy kit to learn. It says it has 50 trick. It does not. The book only has 21 and several of those are different variations of the same trick. For example, the vanishing wand has instructions to make it disappear in your hand and also into your side and up your nose. That is 3 tricks, but really it is just one. Still, they are good, and basic tricks that kids of all ages can enjoy and master. I bought it for a magic camp. 6 year olds love the coin tricks, the vanishing box vanishing ball. Older kids liked trying the other tricks but some of them were so small they were only good to do with one friend and not for an audience. Overall it is a good kit. Best for ages 6-10 but still enjoyable for up to 12.

... starter magic set for kids contained a lot of useful items in magic for children and even for adults
The starter magic set for kids contained a lot of useful items in magic for children and even for adults. However, the DVD supplied did not properly explain some of the tricks and the Illusion Box was too small to accommodate the Poker-size cards that are currently available in the stores. I purchased a kit myself after sending one to my great grandson for his 6th birthday. However, after considering the deficient printed instructions and DVD, I have decided to send e-mails to my great grandson's dad to augment the instructions supplied. Far better instructional DVDs have been supplied by Will Roya, Ben Salinas, Daryl and Michael Ammar. Let me explain that I am a retired aerospace engineer who has been pursuing magic as an avocation since age 7 and most recently I was the host for three years of an award-receiving cablevision program entitled "Gil Stubbs' World of Magic."

fun little thing but a little cheap
A lot of little things for a low price, but a lot the items were a little flimsy and cheap. It was easy to use and most of the tricks worked how they were supposed to.

Great product, great customer service
My 6 year old LOVES this magic kit. It is easy enough for her to be able to do most everything but still plenty of replay value as she can always practice and get better at the various tricks. I liked that she could learn from the DVD instead of me having to read through every trick with her. And, within a few weeks we had lost one small piece of the kit and I wrote to the seller to ask if I could buy a new one--they immediately sent me a new piece free of charge! 5 stars all around.

Fun product, simple to use!
This product is perfect if you want a beginner's version. Even someone as young as four in our family was able to watch the included videos (CD) and perform most of the tricks. Customer service by the maker is also excellent!

Wonderful Time spent with Granddaughter on FaceTime
My Granddaughter lives 2000 miles away from us. She is 8 years Old and very very smart! (Of Course, cuz I'm the Nama).I sent her this as a Birthday Present. We spend a lot of time on FaceTime. When she gets something from me, she calls me either right after she opens the box or while she's opening the box. With this gift, she waited until she could read all the directions, and be able to perform some of the tricks. We had it an hour of FaceTime, since she wanted me to see all the tricks. The most important thing is time together and this gave us that! She loves it!
