Great jump rope, but mat only
Last time I jumped rope was probably 10 years ago, I decided to get back into it for exercise and bought this one.The rope itself is great, spins very smoothly thanks to the bearings. I would say it's a moderate weight (less than the thick, heavy weighted ropes some gyms have), if you try to jump VERY slowly it would probably get annoying but realistically even for a first timer it's not difficult once adjusted. The handles are comfortable to hold, the wrapping material is soft enough to feel nice on your palms but has good grip. I really like the design of the bearings and the axles holding the rope at a right angle to the handle - I think it's a very efficient design and feels smooth when jumping. It gets tangled a little if there is too much slack. I adjusted mine so that it barely touches the ground as I skip, and I jump as fast as I can handle so tension is not a problem and it pretty much never gets tangled while I jump. The instructions have you basically make it the distance from your feet to armpits, which I find way too long. Instead I measure by putting the rope behind my knees and holding the handles out in front of me with straightened arms, which is much shorter, and I shortened a few inches more through trial and error. I recommend starting with the too-long length that the instructions suggest, and adjusting down from there. As the manual says, it's a lot easier to shorten than to lengthen it.The handles each have two holes that the cable makes a U through, and friction holds it in place. So adjustment is very easy, and you don't have to cut the extra bit in case you want to be able to lengthen it later. However if you let the extra bit of cable wrap around the rest of the rope, it tangles a bit more. But if you jump fast enough to hear it whip, it still won't tangle. The first time I tried jumping in my dirt yard the plastic sheath immediately started getting scratched. I think you should definitely not use this on rough surfaces like concrete or pavement, it wouldn't last long. I had those jigsaw piece-style rubber mat tiles around so I jump on those (you can make do with 1x2' but 2x3' is roomier), better for my feet and no damage on the cable. After a few days I got good enough to spin it without ever touching the ground.

Great rope
Haven’t jumped rope since I boxed in my youth. Feels great in the hands. Great quality

The rope stays in place and adjusts easily.
I like that there is a good clip for the rope rather than just a loop where the rope can flop around. There's plenty of extra length so all but the tallest individuals can find a good length. The ball bearing makes for a good spin. Double unders are super easy with this cable that's weighted just right.

Almost perfect
Great rope, great weight, great for beginners, my only problem is the grip, the grip isn’t very grippy and is kinda uncomfortable, still a great rope

Worked great for double unders
I have been using a heavier RX jump rope for double unders that the gym provided, but it was falling apart. I knew I needed to buy my own. I got so used to the heavy weight of the RX rope, I was worried that I'd have to "re-learn" double-unders because this WOD Nation rope felt so much lighter. I used it for the first time today and it worked great. I was able to perform all of my sets unbroken. It was easy to adjust the rope to my height, and the adjustment held throughout the workout.

They're just ok
Considering the price they're decent. My box uses Rx branded ropes and they're noticeably better, also 3x the price. But since I can never find a goldilocks size(just right), I decided to try my luck with some adjustable ones.***Pros***-VERY easy to adjust. I quite like the way one is able to cut to rough size and then fine-tune without tools.-Comes with two cables, still not sure which one I like better.-Comes with extra cable ends. Nice touch there.***Cons***-"Red" handles are actually pink-Pretty rough bearing. I'm still getting the hang of DUs and honestly, I think the fact the rope doesn't always rotate smoothly is making them harder.-Handles feel pretty cheap. I appreciate lightness, but I'm worried its only a matter of time until these fall apart.I can't say I wouldn't buy them again, but next time I might just spend the $30 and get the Rogue's***My Rating Criteria***Build Quality(47.5%) - 2.5 StarsEfficacy(47.5%) - 3.5 StarsPost-Sale Support(0.0%) - n/aPackaging/Presentation(5.0%) - 5.0 StarsWEIGHTED AVERAGE(100.0%) - 3.1 STARS

Good ropes for everyone
Good ropes for the price. I like that they come with two different sized ropes. (speed rope for your double unders)
