I saw one review video where the guy called these things garbage... while wearing a giant smart watch right next to the compass. For those new to compasses, electromagnetic fields will cause spurious readings. Compasses cannot tell the difference between magnetic fields caused by the Earth and those caused by electronic devices. Electromagnetics 101: electrons moving through wires generate a magnetic field. More electrons moving around means stronger magnetic field.These seem to work perfectly fine on my basic digital watch. Walking on a treadmill seemed to generate enough of a magnetic field to mess with the operation. Keep these away from electronics, magnets, and particle accelerators, and they should work fine. The quality of the mount is not the best, but 5 stars given the price point.

I love these small compasses. I first saw one on my Dad's watch from Vietnam. I started adding a small compass to my TIMEX EXPEDITION watches. I still do and it adds a nice element of outdoors's. Normally a single one is more expensive than being able to buy this batch in bulk. I probably will never need to buy one again, thanks!

Made some bracelets with them and they work good for that and work well.

These are very inaccurate they don't have water in them or oil whatever, very inaccurate they all point different directions, give value but not for guidance you will get lost

Some of them worked and ok for price. Be careful if using on Apple Watch, since the watch uses magnets to charge it makes them not work

North was off by 90 degrees.

For toy use, I would not recommend for real needs.
