CODi Key Cable Lock, Black (A02001) - Integrated Security Solution for Laptops, Desktops and Monitors

The lock is exactly what I expected. I mounted a computer monitor on top of my ATM for digital signage, and used this to keep sticky fingers from walking off with it. Comes with two keys, locks and unlocks properly.

Good solid lock and deterrent the for the price. This deterrent provides piece of mind while in public with your notebook. This lock works on my Samsung Chromebook 3 - easy to set and provides a snug fit while active on my Chromebook. The bundled keys work well with lock-end of cable. In my opinion, using a traditional key lock is less of a hassle than combo locks that get jammed when you are in a hurry and on the go. Rule of thumb: No lock is 100% theft proof.

This product is actually better than anticipated. It feels sturdy and has good weight to it. I am confident it will be an effective theft deterrent just by its looks and an effective preventative by its quality. Very easy to attach and detach to my laptop, compared with other locks I’ve used in the past that tend to be hard to remove from the laptop lock slot. I am extremely pleased!

I love this lock as it is just what I wanted, I gave it 4/5 stars simply because the key only had 1 notch instead of 2 or 3 notches to increase security.

Locking mechanisim is strong and durable. It does not flop around like other flexible cable locks. Cable is coated so that the wire cable is not exposed to rub and damage furniture.

We purchased a couple dozen of these locks to secure devices in a multi-user conference rooms. We used them to lock down the conference bridge phones, projectors and have a few available in each for individual users to lock down their laptops. Best lock we have ever purchased! Would highly recommend, and the price is right!

Not sure how often she actually needs to use this lock currently, but it makes us feel bit better with her having the laptop she does for her classes
