Buy Vtac. 2 rifles, 2 slings and no issues.
Bought a Blue Force Gear sling, was not impressed, the webbing felt tough and cheap. I am a small framed dude and getting the Vickers brace combined with an SBR sized weapon yielded adjusting issues. I had purchased a VTAC for my primary rifle, and loved it, everything about it worked with me.First off the materials are all high quality the webbing, tri-glides, padding etc, are excellent. Vtac does several good videos for instillation. I subscribe to the method where the sling is setup in a manner that allows you to shoot non-dominant. I had mine setup by a Navy medic that works with me. Only real variation is he only used one tri-glide, I have had no issues with the glides moving. The give you plenty of webbing to really get it adjusted to where you see like it. Changing the level of retention is easy, and if want it snug against your body, you can always reach and pull more webbing though.A lot of people like the Vickers sling, but I will always buy Vtac. 2 rifles, 2 slings and no issues.I now have 2 of these with no complaints.

High Quality
Took me a minute realize I had the pull strap on backwards. But once I did, I realized how great this sling is. Durable, comfortable, and adjustable. Only con is that I did have to buy the quick release attachment to go with this.

No Better Two-point Sling Available
I can't say for sure that the VTAC sling is the best on the market, because I haven't tried them all! What I can say, is that based on what I have seen, and tried, I haven't seen a more practical, better thought-out, designed and well constructed product in the two-point sling arena. The sling lives up to it's reputation and expectations in all ways. It's fast to adjust, holds that adjustment, and is both efficient and practical in the field. The construction is rugged, and USA made, and fairly priced.Would I buy again? Yes, I have several times over, and replaced several other well respected name-brand products with these slings. Bottom line, it's a great option if you're a two-point sling operator.

Excellent design and well thought out.
Overall design of this sling is very good. Works perfectly. Materials used seem like they will hold up under any condition. Once installed on rifle adjustments can be made very easily. Stitching on sling and padding are excellent. Nothing cheap and no shortcuts here. Couple of points worth mentioning here: There are elastic keepers for the excess material left over after you make adjustments for height and comfort. No dangling excess of material. The second is the tab used for quick adjustments, it is very well made, has a good textured grip so there is no slipping when pulling to make adjustments. The only problem I have with this sling (and have had with other slings) is that it is a little to long for me. I am 5'7" and at the shortest adjustment it hangs a little low, and does not pull as tight as I would like to my body. Having said that, it is a very well made and well thought out product.

Definitely A Quality Sling.
I bought this sling looking for a good rugged sling that I could use not only for general target shooting but for hunting as well. It was definitely intended for people taller than me! I'm 5'7" and have to play with it to get it snug against my body without a pack on. Even with that being said, I cant still adjust the straps so that it stays close to my body and even provides stability while shooting. The sling itself is well made, the padded strap isn't huge but is very comfortably padded. It all comes down to personal preference in the end and I really like this sling. If you're looking for a great two point sling I would definitely buy this and decide for yourself. I know that my Colt feels like it's not even there when it's on my back and is very secure when I have it in a frontal carry so that I can keep my hands free for other things. A top notch sling all around.

A rifle’s best friend.
I own and use these on multiple setups. Very versatile and adjustable sling. Long rifles to AR pistols. The folks that complain about the size are not wearing them correctly. Please do not take their words as the end all fact that they are claiming, as they may not have real world experience with firearms and activities that require a proper sling. For those of us with a background and/or continued need and use of a rifle and sling for more than just internet pictures or showing off your expensive toy to friends, this sling is great. I have multiple brands and slings of varied design. My background and current employment necessitate the need and use of firearms in real world dangerous situations. I say this for the folks that may not have extensive experience or a life that requires firearms as an everyday tool. I am a big guy. I wear 3XLT shirts. I also wear plate armor. This sling is a great asset to my ability to perform properly. It also works perfectly for standard life and normal clothes. I know what you are thinking, the other reviewers say you need to be a large man or have body armor for this to fit. Not true, this sling can and does work for large men in body armor all the way down to small women in t-shirts. It fits just as comfortable on me as it does a 5’0, 100lb female. I know this because due to experience. Now that we are done with the size issue, let me speak to the sling and it’s performance. I prefer to use my left side for carrying and ultimately using a rifle or shotgun. My pistol is on my right. I am trained to switch both as well. I can transition from a left handed firing position to a right handed firing position fluidly and quickly with this sling. When you are moving from one cover or conceal position to the next, you shouldn’t always rely on that position to work for just one your right or left side. Cover #1 may require left side firing only and Cover #2 may require right side firing only. Hell they might allow for both. My point being this rifle gets the job done. I don’t worry about it and rarely think about it because it’s comfortable and reliable.Even if you just use a sling for your hunting rifle, your best shot may dictate that you need to line up your shot with the opposite side. It works great for those of us that hunt as well.Maybe you just enjoy sport shooting at your local range. This is once again a great sling. Like I said, it’s Comfortable, Functional, Reliable, and Versatile.Stay safe and train.
