this brace works, it keeps my thumb immobilised yet I can still use my hand. It also protects my thumb from being bumped, it's protective. I haven't gotten it wet though, that's the only drawback I can tell to this brace. It's a little too big I have small hands but it works.

Worked great for a preteen size kid hand.

This brace holds my thumb in a perfectly natural position and still allows me to use my hand in a basic grip or claw-like hold. I have a chronic sprain, and I tend to aggravate it at night, too, as well as through misuse. I’ve both comfortably slept with it on and worn it for several hours during the day. Very happy with it.

I sprained mt thumb and am in need of a brace that not only immobilizes the base of my thumb, but also my entire thumb so its unable to bend at all. This brace "kinda" does that, although I'm having trouble with it after only 1 week. The strap around the top of the thumb has a very small piece of velcro on it but is also very long which doesn't allow it to get fully tight around my thumb (so my thumb still bends slightly), plus its so small and not great quality that i'm having problems with it coming unattached on its own. Not very strong velcro. I bought the small size brace which seems large in the straps but then too small in the length from palm to wrist. In order for me to wear it on my thumb like the image shown, the brace isn't solely around my wrist, its partially around my palm as well. The entire brace also tends to twist around my wrist and hand so I have had to constantly readjust. I've considered reordering a larger size, but considering the issues i'm having with the length of the straps, I feel it will be loose on me. For a cheap supportive brace, it does fine but if you are looking for complete immobilization, don't expect it from this.

Ok this is my second purchase of braces. I’m handicapped and fall a lot. I’ve developed carpal tunnel & trigger thumbs. I thought I made a good selection with the old braces by doing a lot of research. All was great except how they measure the braces for your hand. I’m a woman and my wrist is small, but my palm is wide and my fingers are long. This brace checks all the boxes. I need a brace that covers the distance from my wrist to the tip of my thumb, but cinches tight enough for a small wrist. These braces in L/Xl covers both thumbs. It also has the third band that figure eights around the thumb. That extra band is the needed thing to help stabilize my trigger thumb. Since both my hands are affected it was great to have a discount for purchasing two. Amazon shipped in a day (Prime) and they came packaged well. They come flat ? You have to bend/mold them to your hand giving a custom fit. The velcro is strong, but not super strong. Super strong that it’s impossible to open, but strong enough that if it catches on clothes, sheets, furniture it stays put! I use a walker, so with the braces on I feel like I have oven mitts on? I’m a wall, furniture, counter creeper. I’ve solved that problem! Hospital grip tube socks. Cut five finger holes and put over hand. Sock grippers give me holding/grip assistance. Even with all that covering my hand the braces are not hot.

This thumb support brace is very supportive and comfortable enough to wear for 7 hours or more. The design makes it easy to customize the fit. They relieve the pain at the base of the thumb really well. The durability is outstanding. Mine have lasted about 2 years each with daily use. It’s probably the best thing I have purchased on Amazon. I have purchased some alternative thumb supports, but none came close to the comfort of this one.

Ergonomico, protettivo, calzante. Cercavo una protezione che arrivasse quasi in cima al pollice, avendo sviluppato una tendinite con dito a catto x ultima falange del pollice e questa lo fa. Avvolge e tiene fermo il dito, impedendo la flessione dell'ultima falange. Dovrebbe aiutare a superare il periodo di max infiammazione, che sto trattando adeguatamente. Questo tutore mi pare ben fatto, tiene fermo ma senza costringere in modo forzato, lo consiglio.

Lo compré por una tendinitis en el pulgar y el resultado fue fantástico, fácil de poner, con velcro para adaptarlo a tu muñeca, cómodo y nada engorroso. En un par de días se solucionó mi problema. Después lo han usado más miembros de mi familia y también con buenos resultados. Muy satisfecha con este producto. Excelente relación calidad/precio.
