I'm 46 and wear reading glasses. It's gotten to the point I have to put on my reading glasses to see the tape measure, see to cut the line with a saw, etc - until now. These things are awesome! They have built in bifocals. Look down through the bifocal, you can see up close. Look up or straight ahead and you see through the regular safety glass. The bifocal part of the glasses is slightly oversized - for example, big enough so you can see the saw blade and the line you're cutting, not say just one tiny spot. The quality of the lenses seems good too. Objects are clear and sharp. They are stylish enough for a variety of uses and inexpensive enough to be disposable or easily replaceable - light and comfortable too. They even come with a protective sleeve to protect the lenses. Just remember... this is a review for $13.00 safety glasses, not $300.00 prescription glasses. Whoever came up with this idea is a genius. I just ordered a second pair with the smoked lenses for working outside (or reading a book on the beach, or sunglasses that let me see to tie a fly when fly fishing, you get the idea). Highly recommended!

Wow talk about a great idea. My company pays for prescription safety glassed. Had a pair made. Hated them and brought them back. These safety bifocals are excellent. You get the strength you need to see clearly and you are ready for close work, far work, computer work, whatever! Not all bifocal safety glasses are the same. Many today hug your face in an effort to look fashionable. When I am at work I don't want fashionable I WANT FUNCTIONAL. What good is a tight fitting pair of glasses? You will find out when you sweat just a little. The lenses fog and it's all over. So What about the DeWalt Glasses. I have found them to be pretty good. They fit well, Wear well. They don't have a lot of thin plastic ridges left-overs from the molding process, that irritate skin like others. The little rubber inserts above the ears help comfort. Buy a few pairs you will be happy with them. Oh and about fogging... These do not fit as tight so there is less problem with trapping moisture that causes fogging. OSHA requires employers to provide or pay for PPE that is suitable to there employees. Get what you need and work safe out there! Blessings, John 20:29

Call me old, but bi-focal safety glasses - awesome! They are comfortable and work great.

Using these for my shooting glasses. Best one's so far. They give me a wide clear view and the readers are right below my main line of sig so I don't have to go looking way down to find them but they do not get in the way when looking forward. The ear pieces are not so thick as to bother my ear protection. These glasses are prefect for the range.

These are perfect. I have to take notes on construction sites very often and these were economical and allow me to see everything at far distances while also allowing me to read my notepad.

It's a good product and they fit really well and I can see really good with the bifocals. But don't drop them because once you drop them they're scratched and you can't wear them anymore I've had them about 2 weeks had to get rid of them. They scratch very easily

I’m happy with these glasses. They fit well and are comfortable. I only gave 4 stars, as the magnified area is just a bit too small. Still very useful, and very handy to have in the workshop.

Great safety specs with small reading area at bottom of lens. A case will be required though.

These are exactly what I was looking for and was told by my optometrist I would have to pay hundreds for. For an off the shelf pair of glasses these are perfect for my purposes.
