No aniMe Matrix display
Great laptop. The specifications make this a steal for the price. Not the top of the line but gets the job done and then some.No aniMe matrix display. I took off one star because the listing does not make it clear this is the non-animated lid model. I bought it thinking it was, but it's still a good laptop even without that.

Very nice laptop
Very nice laptop. Runs modern games well. Lots of cool features by Asus for keyboard lighting and backgrounds. Also portable and not too heavy. Great buy.

I did not buy this on Amazon. I do have it stting right next me. Ryzen 5800hx Nvidia 3060. 512gb 16gb ram.GA401QM-G14.R73060I am giving this review because I am upset at the 1star review saying how bad the webcam is.Comparing it to a cellphone.This laptop does NOT have a webcam. (which is a great thing, I NEVER use one .. ever.. even on my macbook air )I did report this 1 star review to Amazon.. so I am reviewing this here to tell you this 1 star review from jacob, is not for this laptop.The laptop DOES have a left and right mic.. so for gaming you can use chat apps like Discord with no problems!Two cons:1) one stick of ram is replaceable/upgradable, other stick is soldered onto the motherboard.Not that much of a big deal as you can still replace one stick with more ram. 1 16 stick = 24gb ram.. so yeah.Even the alienware x14 has 2 soldered ram.2) no LAN port.. only WiFi.The M.2 drive I believe is PCIe 4! (that is a plus)keyboard only does white on this model and is dimable and the fuction keys do light up showing you the icons!The back is not programable light (those are the more expensive zyph 14 models.Finger printscannerTrackpad seems to be glass.. feels like it, not a bad size.Base of laptop seems to be some metal .. solid build.. great feel!Nice page up down home end so up down left right are a separate key and same size. (Personally I use WSAD ).There are videos on youtube on calming down the cpu to get the fans to lower during gameplay. (IF that is an issue for you-IF you read other reviews the fans are on to much or too loud when gaming)This laptop I only got yesterday, it has not been used to game yet.This laptop is 14" not 15.6" so you get a smaller display.The laptop I am going to replace is an ASUS 15.6" I am typing this review on, it has a QHD display with lots of back light blead.. and I'm done with it. I am not impressed with this Advantage Edition QHD. I don't play games that use GPU strongly, therefore the 3060 in this Zeph 14" will do just fine at 6GB dedicated Video Ram.. vs the Advantage 6800m 12 GB Vram. HUGE difference but I don't use it. (Huge difference in V Ram ).Difference between 15.6" ~ 14" :Holding this Zeph 14" against ASUS 15.6" .. top is lower by 1 1/16" and the width is smaller by 1 1/8".

This computer works well with newer games
The guy who is new to gaming complaining about batter life is probably trying to game unplugged, which will always hinder your gameplay. Plug it in buddy.

DO NOT BUY THIS LAPTOP
I purchased this laptop to get into pc gaming and for my school. It can barely run MINECRAFT let alone anything that’s not 10 years old. Even after I made all the changes I could to improve performance. The camera is what you would expect from a cellphone in 2006. And the batter is only normal is your doing light browsing. All and all I’d say this is something to give your 8 year old to preoccupy them. I will say that for school work (other than assignments that require a camera) it met expectations. I’d give it a 2/10 maybe a 3/10 on a good day.
