Touchpoints: Your Child's Emotional and Behavioral Development, Birth to 3 -- The Essential Reference for the Early Years

Nothing better to help understand and appreciate little ones. Too much psychobabble out there when simple will do. A must for all new parents or anyone that needs a refresher on little ones.

Love the book. Not packaged properly

For the parents who are interested in the child development and want to follow the ebb and flow of the child development, as the family grows togeather in to the loving unit of the society.

I just received my used copy of Touchpoints: Your Child's Emotional & Behavioral Developement (Birth-3) from Earreads in 2 days. I think it is going to be just what this grandmother needs to get her baby on tract. Dr. Berry Brazelton uses such practical sense with kids. This common sense approach creates a sense of confidence in both mother & child. Also, Earreads sent the books to me so quickly & I do appreciate her effort. I will remember to use her help again if I can. She was very helpful too in that she sent me an email to let me know it was on the way! She doesn't have to do that. I feel very confident using the used section of the Amazon site. The book was in great shape too. Thanks guys!!

I'm so glad that a friend recommended this book to me. It gave me a better understanding of what's happening to my baby at various stages in his development, which sets my mind at ease. The book is well-written. It is divided by ages with a general description of how a baby behaves at that particular age and an explanation of what's happening in the baby's world and how it affects the baby's mood in addition to his behavior. I've been using it as a reference for around a year and have been quite pleased with how accurate Dr. Brazelton has been in describing these various developmental stages.

This book has been a lifeline for me! I depended on it as a first-time mom 3 years ago with my first child, and now it is just as valuable as I raise my now 8-month-old twins. Whenever my children begin to experience eating, sleeping, or other behavorial difficulties, I go to this book and find out these behaviors are simply a result of their normal development. The advice to these problems is always practical, loving, common-sense, and most often successful. I would not advise anyone to get this book as their only reference book (don't buy it expecting to find treatments for diaper rash!), but it is most definitely a must-have!

Easy to read. Has updated guidelines so don't let the copyright date worry you. Loved it, Friends asked to borrow it!

Excellent Book! Was recommended by my Peditrician and am so glad he recommended it! Its helped me a lot to deal with tantrums with my son (or at least help to understand tantrums) and there is great advice inside. Fully Recommend it!
