I got a Hot Racing dust cover
This is not advertised as a hot racing product and the hot racing dust cover sells for $10 more than this “raised racing” dust cover but it seems like the HR one is what I got. Has the hot racing logo on it and everything. Either way this seems to be a great dust cover and comes with velcro tape that attaches all the way around the chassis and the mesh cover has Velcro all around the bottom to attach to it. It also has two zippers so you can access everything from either side or open both zippers and flop the mesh open to easily work on the vehicle. There is also a hole with a little metal grommet for the antenna to poke through but you need to remove the black rubber top of the antenna to install or remove the cover from the antenna but that is easy to just pull off the top of the antenna, just don’t lose the black rubber antenna top while you are removing/installing the cover.This may be a HR knockoff because it has regular black zipper tabs and looking at the hot racing cover think they are supposed to have red zipper tabs with the HR logo. Either way if it works I don’t care and it works so. Will update if it falls apart or if I find a flaw.

Keeps slash clean but hot
It keeps 99.9% of the dirt, grass, pebbles and leaves out but even 3 fans can't keep it out of overheat on a warm day.

Dust control
This is a great idea! I'm very glad I purchased this. Definitely helps keep all the dust, leaves, small rocks and other debris out of the motor and battery area. I run my Traxxas in many empty dusty warehouses at times. And it is Awesome how much this helps keep that area clean.

Works pretty good but traps heat on 3S(read).
These are the same that hobby shops will sell for $40. If you are running a 2BLS slash you'll be fine. 3S you'll start getting heat build up, it's a bit TOO good at keeping things out... If you're careful the zippers are fine and the hook-and-loop is fine. To clear the grommet, you take OFF THE ANTENNA TIP(if you still have one), most things can be performed without pulling it off, until you forget-then launch the tip-then don't have to worry about that any more. For 3S cars, cut a 'window' in the cover over the ESC/Motor fans. It doesn't fray and still keeps out a ton of mess. For the velcro, clean the sides with alcohol, heat the tape with a hair dryer before installing(do one piece fed in 4" at a time if you don't have nerf bars). These are pain on the sides with the nerf bars though... It's worth it to pop the shocks and move them out of the way to get a good bond if needed, makes a huge difference if you prep it. That's a lot for a truggy baggy, but I have extra time saved from not cleaning mulch and gravel out of every corner of the chassis....

Good idea, poor execution.
Worked really nice for the first two bashes I used it with. Keeps the rocks out pretty well, but when I was done with my second session playing with the net installed I unzipped it to turn off the ESC and disconnect my battery and the zipper broke. I've tried and tried to get it to catch and zip back up but it's a junk plastic zipper..
