SpeedTech LightsMini 14 72 Watts LED Strobe Lights for Trucks, Cars, Plows, and Emergency Vehicles with Magnetic Roof Mount - Amber/Amber (Yellow/Yellow)

I was surprised how heavy this light is. It's solidly built and I like the low profile design. These aren't blindly bright, but it'll work for my application. I first set the blink pattern from the cigarette lighter on my car, and then hard-wired this to a bobcat for plowing the driveway. I could have wired in a momentary switch to change the blink patter, but I didn't bother. The magnets are REALLY strong. Make sure your fingers are clear when you set it down ... I didn't. :-)This light has too many blink patterns! I doubt most of the patterns are used by anyone. I like that the light remembers the last setting. I would be a real pain to set the pattern every time you turned the light on.

Light is bright, but not as bright as I was expecting for the price. I doubt it's any brighter than the cheap lights. It is also VERY directional (see picture). Most of their available flash patterns are just a slightly faster version of the previous pattern. So it really only has like 8 flash patterns, but some with different speeds. It does come with a cigarette lighter plug. I had asked the company about a pigtail to plug into their connector for hard wiring (so I wouldn't have to cut the cig plug in case I wanted to use it later) and they just told me to buy another cigarette plug and cut it. Not at what they charge for the plug! Overall I'm disappointed I spent the extra money on this product. I would not buy it again.Update: I actually measured the draw of this light bar with all LEDs on and it was only 1.055 amps. Which means it was only about 15 watts TOTAL (based on voltage being fed to it)! Nowhere near the 72 watts they claim. Dropped it one star for that. Even if it did draw the max 3.5 amps they claim it would only be 44 watts at 12.6 volts.Don't expect this to be as bright as the expensive units you see on the highway crew trucks. This isn't much better than the chinese ones that are half the price.See picture of how poorly the light spreads. This is on top of my skidsteer which is about 15 feet away from the wall. The light from the 14" light bar only spreads to about 30". Also attached is a picture of the actual amp draw of the light.

Strobe is super bright, plenty of patterns I use it for snow plowing. Neighbor thought I was the county truck one night coming down the road until he seen my headlights. Only con is it's not water tight mine gets a little bit of condensation every now and then but it does dry back out with sun light. Magnets are super strong I've ran my truck 80-85 down the freeway and it didn't budge.

Only had this a few weeks, but appears to be a good light for the cost. Magnets work very well. Nice selections of flash patterns too.

Great visibility and value for the money. I purchased this for our water rescue boat (salt water) and this unit, so far is doing great! Very pleased!

Very well built light bar with a strong magnet and very bright

Bought others in this price range that were ...junk. This one is well made, sturdy, simple operation. Holds well on the back of the roof with the rubber cups still on the magnets at highway speeds. Very bright at a distance in daylight.I feel comfortable that other drivers will see me when I stop to help others.[Add alley lights and it would be perfect]
