Simple but brilliant
This is a really simple HD monitor designed not to be a desktop main monitor but as a secondary unit. It doesn't have the usual monitor stand but has a really simple metal box casing which is very sturdy. There's a tripod mount on the bottom and vesa holes so potentially has lots of possible applications. It's very low energy and gives off zero heat and I think due to the shape this would mount in something very easily. The screen has a light matte finish so no reflections but is bright and clear.I'd never use this as a main video or gaming screen, personally I'm using this under my laptop to use as a 3rd screen as a notification dashboard. OSX recognises it and extends my desktop as a default 1920x1080 over HDMI without any scaling so not using anymore resources. I can fit a Gmail tab, Spotify and Slack all on the screen so can see and control without having to move work off my main big screen or moving around calls etc.Only downsides, you'd think the case could be slimmer. Also in an ideal world the ports would be recessed into the case, instead the hdmi and power cable stick out the side which is ugly and you'd need to factor in if you were mounting in a particular way. And yes the stand is shockingly simple but effective!

Faulty screen dead pixels
Disappointed The screen overall looked fine, had VGA and HDMI which I required. However when switched on a white smear of dead/damaged pixels appears in the top right. Display currently on it way back to Amazon.

Excellent small monitor
This is an excellent lightweight small monitor. Which I use as a remote screen on my short wave transceiver.

Good budget portable monitor for increasing your screen real estate

Good screen for my switch
About right size and not heavy. Color is OK. Easy to connect to my switch. Now I can finally play switch in my bed with a larger screen.
