I'm one of those people who doesn't tie and untie shoes unless I just have to. Not out of laziness, just convenience. I have a pair of walking shoes that I haven't tied or untied since I bought them. I just slip them on. So when I discovered these shoe strings I thought, "light bulb!" They're elastic! You fit them to your shoe and then cut off any extra and BAM. Slip on shoes forever with out the occasional hang up/NEED to tie or untie. They offer a variety of colors. Other then the ease of being able to slip on and off...it allows that extra STRETCH there when walking that your typical shoe string doesn't offer. If you're a runner there is no more worry of lose strings. They come w/ clips for each string that secure the shoe string on the inside of your shoe so you can cut off any remaining slack. I love them. When I get my shoelace I recieve a letter from seller, they enclosed an instruction video for me,I am very satisfied with the service. I think it was a great idea. I plan to get a few more pair for my kids. I also tried to show the clip that goes on the inside of the shoe itself. All in all I'm very satisfied.

Look carefully at the pictures and read the description, this may not be what you think it is. Once you’ve put these laces on, you trim them so they cannot be adjusted longer again.The directions that come with the laces in the package and the YouTube video are both pretty unhelpful. The best pictures are actually the ones here with the for sale item.We will see how they hold up, but my biggest disappointment is because I thought I was getting elastic shoelaces that you could adjust, I did not realize these would not work with shoes that don’t have holes. I bought them to replace shoelaces that were removed from a pair of shoes that have loops, not holes. So the little plastic clip totally shows and I seriously doubt it’s going to hold up.I added a picture to show what I mean about the loops. The shoe on the left has the original laces and the shoe on the right has these leases that I purchesed (not trimmed yet). There’s no way to hide the little plastic clips because of the design of the shoes.The second picture shows a single shoe with holes.

Great idea, but the plastic fasteners do not hold up. It took a bit to figure out how to install the hook but that worked fine. Kids now like to wear tennis shoes untied but my granddaughter needs more support for her feet. Elastic laces that appear untied seemed a great solution. She is 10 years old and not particularly rough on shoes but one of the fasteners broke within one week. Fortunately there were 5 fasteners in the package so the broken one was replaced. We are now in week 2, so we will see. I would have given one star but it really is a good idea. If the fasteners were metal rather than plastic I think it would be a good product.

I've set these laces up on two pairs of shoes, and absolutely love them. They hold well, are very comfortable, and I don't miss tying my shoes in the least. It's very easy to work a little more or less slack into the laces as needed, but I really like being able to get them set and leave them alone!One note - I made the mistake of not having a loop over the top set of eyelets the first time I used these. I found that too loose. But with a loop over the top they look and feel great!

So far these are working just as well as the other, more expensive, brand. They do not come with the lace end covers though. Installation is easy: You simply lace your shoes with these like you would any other laces, run them through the clip, and then cut off any excess and lightly singe the end. It's a smart move to wear your shoes for a while before you cut the ends off to make sure that you have the fit right. I've only been using these for a week or so, but I will update my review if I find any faults.

I got these for my toddler's new sneakers so we would a no-tie option. These are terribly long for children's shoes and I don't think they should be advertised as being for "kids." Maybe older kids/teens? Anyways they are "fine" and the color matches her shoes perfectly but I hate to cut more than half of the lace off just so they are the right size. I ended up using the original laces that came with the shoes and laced them like I did my old skate shoes from when I was in high school. I'll still hang on to them for when she's older or for her older sister's shoes down the road. 4 stars because otherwise they work fine. Minus 1 star because they're way too big for kids shoes.

Just put these in my own shoes as well as for 2 elderly patients where I work. The elastic laces were as easy to install as regular laces, though the plastic lock could be a little tricky for some.I didn’t want to cut the ends off in case I want to put them in different shoes later so I just bunched them under the insoles. I don’t really notices them underneath my feet after a few minutes. I prefer my shoes tied a bit loose, so after I laced up the left shoe I realized I needed to leave some extra slack in the right shoe.The shoe on the left feels like I have the laces tied tight and secure and didn’t feel like they would budge if I were to go for a run. The shoe on the right feels secure but casual. I might need to tighten them if I wanted to do anything other than light activity.Will update if anything changes after the first day, but ultimately I would definitely purchase these laces again.

The only reason I didn't give this item five stars is because the plastic tabs were a bit uncomfortable at first. I don't know if I've broken them in or maybe just gotten use to it but I don't notice the tabs anymore. That being said these no tie laces do exactly what they are meant to do. I bought two pair, one for my ten year old son and one for my work shoes. I'm a nurse so I do a lot of walking. In the two weeks I've been wearing them I have not had any issue with them coming loose. So far they are working for my son as well. He didn't seem to have the same problem with the tabs causing discomfort as I did. The laces came in one size which fit both mine and my son's shoes after being trimmed (per the instructions). There is a helpful video on Youtube that demonstrates how to apply the tabs to secure the laces. All in all I would definitely buy this item again.

Work as expected. Used on my Converse chucks allowing me to slip them om and off easily. Takes some time to adjust. I recommend installing and then walking a couple trips BEFORE cutting and securing with the clips. First time I went out with these installed I found my shoes were too tight so I adjusted accordingly. Other thing to note is they have kind of a sheen finish, not flat color.

Where have these been all my life. Such a simple idea, makes life so much easier. They took a bit of finagling to get them sitting right in my Chucks, but now that they're in, my shoes are easily slipped on and off - and it looks like just like regular laces.

It makes your shoes into slip-on's, no tie, convenient beautiful dailies!The idea is genius, I wished I discovered them sooner!I only wish the clips were more rounded, I had to file all of them down for a more comfortable wear and prevent excessive scratching damage to the shoes.

Great if you just want to use your shoes as slip-ons. Be careful, leave a bit of elastic incase you make the laces too tight and need to adjust!!!

Bought these for my dad. He wanted “cool” laces for a white pair of sock shoes in a “fun” colour. I had NO idea how hard it was to find fun patterened laces that weren’t expensive. I found these super cost effective and easy to use (there’s also a YouTube video out there for added assistance). Wasn’t looking for the no tie style laces but my dad felt that was a great bonus. They look good!
