Amazing
I’ve ordered one before, can’t rave enough about it!

I love my Saalt soft regular and Venus large cups, but was looking for an alternative due to my long perimenopausal periods and frequent spotting. I have a very high cervix and some days it took a bit too long to remove my cups, plus the almost daily use made my vagina sore. I have an IUD, but cups and discs are generally safe, so no concern there. I chose the ecoblossom as a starter disc due to the price. I also wanted an aid for easy removal because I have a high cervix and I am plus size. This disc more than met my expectations. It is easier to insert and remove than my cups, it is comfortable, I have no leaks and the removal string works like a charm. The disc is soft with a medium firmness, so it slides in easily with a little bit of water. The large does look big, but slims down like a tampon when pressed for insertion. The string sticks out a bit for me, but it does not cause irritation. I plan to trim it at some point. Removal is messier than a cup, but I feel comfortable with my blood so I don’t mind it. It fits perfectly in my cup sanitizer. I do not like the storage baggy, but that does not take away from the product itself. This disc has helped make my perimenopausal periods significantly more manageable. While I still plan to use my cups on some days, this disc is my official go-to. I highly recommend it!

Now I don't normally write reviews but these discs are an absolute game changer and I wish I knew about them sooner! So, I'm a heavy flower, I'm talking flooding through a super tampon and night time pad, dripping down my legs, huge embarrassment in front of work colleagues type of heavy flow. I've used a mooncup for 20 years but when I'm really heavy I find they are more prone to leakage than a super tampon so would resort back to tampons if I knew I wouldn't have quick access to a toilet. I don't want to use disposable items but work in a physically active job where I really can't just run to the toilet as soon as I flood. I have had to resort to wearing a shirt around my waist and dark clothing during my period, because of the likelihood of leaks, I have even had to sit on carrier bags in the car on long journeys. I do use period pants now, which are brilliant, but still have issues with leakage, especially at nightimes, getting up first thing in the morning or rising from a chair. I was drawn to the disc because of it's capacity and reading other people's reviews convinced me to give it a try. On first use I was initially dubious, it doesn't have the suction like the mooncup so I wasn't sure if I had inserted it correctly or high enough, was it sitting behind the bone correctly? I was constantly aware of it and worryied about it leaking, pulling it out every few hours just in case, to find it wasn't even anywhere near full capacity. It didn't leak at night and it didn't overflow when I got up in the morning, in fact I had zero leaks apart from some slight spotting. I'm now on my second month of use, I feel a lot more confident, I know I'm inserting it correctly so, yesterday, out of curiosity, on my heaviest flow day, which was also my busiest work day, I left it in to see how long it would take to leak. I expected 6hrs max..........it took 11hrs! I would never leave it that long normally and I won't again, but that was impressive. I normally wouldn't make it to 4hrs with the mooncup or a tampon, at times they've not even managed an hour. Yes it can be messy inserting and removing but the stalk makes it a lot easier to remove, plus I'm learning the best angle and speed to remove it so it doesn't go all over my fingers or flick anywhere, I'm confident I'll get that down to a fine art, I did with the mooncup, plus it's a lot, lot messier dealing with big leaks, trying to wash down your legs in a cubicle, cleaning furniture, mattresses, changing the bedding in the early hours of the morning, replacing stained clothes etc. I'm a convert, these are cheap, reusable, easy to sterilise, easy to use, have amazing capacity and in just 2 periods have proven to be absolutely the BEST, most effective period product I've ever used. I will definitely be recommending to every woman I know!

First off, this is amazing and I love it! I've been using menstrual cups for a few years now and while I love them, there were two reasons I decided to try this disc. One, you can't "do the deed" with a cup in but you can with the discs and, two, the cup was sometimes difficult to put in, so I wanted to see if the disc was easier. I've tried the disposable discs in the past and while they weren't hard to put in, I mistakenly thought that they were leaking because I didn't know that they were supposed to "self-empty" a little bit. Still, I wanted to stick with something reusable. I've used this disc for a full cycle now and I don't think I'll ever use a cup again. It's super comfortable and SO MUCH easier to put in vs. a cup. (Suggestion: fold it in half, push it in as much as you can, then use your thumb to push it back even more. Then, hook your finger underneath to make sure it's tucked under your pelvic bone). It hasn't leaked for me at all and my periods are pretty heavy. As far as "doing the deed" with it, it wasn't bad! I was nervous but I didn't find it painful and it didn't affect any sensations (if you get what I mean). My ONLY complaint is that the string can be uncomfortable during "the deed". We could both feel it at times and the disc turned and the string went inward. I didn't feel it turning but, honestly, I think the string is unnecessary altogether. You definitely won't want to use the string to pull it out either because that would be messy and the disposable ones don't have strings. I plan on cutting mine off. Definitely try this disc out!

I used a menstrual cup for years and thought I wouldn’t like this at all. However, my menstrual cup actually sucked out my IUS, so I wanted an alternative once my new one was placed. I love this menstrual cup and I find it holds much more over the course of a day compared to my menstrual cup. It takes a bit of getting used to, of course, but when placed, I don’t feel it. I also love that there’s no suction at all. You just push it a bit behind your tailbone and it will remain in place until removed.

I have been thinking of switching from tampons and pads to something reusable for a while and IM SO GLAD I FINALLY DID! I was scared when it first arrived, because it seemed huge and I was worried as it how it was going to fit, but once you pinch it, the application and size is very similar to using a tampon! I’ve only been using it for 2 days, but already I love it. Easy to insert and easy to take out.
