Just in case, for a mellow cat
I bought it for Freddy. After spending 3 weeks at the sitter's house I wanted to make his transition back home as easy as possible. He's a chill cat in terms of personality so he was fine. The scent is a bit strong at the beginning but fades out with time. It's a cute orange color. I left two collars with my mom who will travel with my other cat in a transatlantic flight next year, so I will update the review then. The other cat is also chill but he's elderly and the situation is more extreme than just moving from one house to the other. Wish me and Tito luck!

Does what it says
This has helped my cat a lot. He's always been terrified of his own shadow. He's gotten better as he has gotten old but I think the new kitten was causing extra stress. The smell is super strong fresh out of tin so I give it a day or two just in the living room before putting it on him. The smell last quite a long time. I'm not a fan of non- break away collars so I leave it super loose so he can get it off incredibly easily and he hasn't bother to try to remove it which he was definitely do if it was bothering him.

Lessens the rampages
Our oldest cat is named Bast**d, for good reason. Abandoned as a kitten, with a bad dog rolemodel, he has anxiety and pica and is prone to going on rampages around the house. Rampages include: picking on the other two cats, eating chincilla hay, puking up chinchilla hay, howling about how his tummy hurts from chinchilla hay, crunching plastic, opening and thudding cupboard doors all night long, stomping on my head in the middle of the night, smacking my husband's arm when we are on time with meals, smacking the dog for existing...and lately breaking the other cats' dishes at 4:30am because I figured out he knows how to open the dry food bin to sit inside it and eat to his heart's content and so I fixed the bin and cut him off. These collars don't stop Bast**d from embodying his name, but they lessen it to a tolerable level. Without the collars he hates the other animals and wants to eat them at all times and the pica raises to a possibly suicidal level. With the collars he at least sits and makes little cute fangy smiles of "contrition" when caught being bad and snuggles with the other cats sometimes. We know the collar effect is wearing off if he starts fights or ups the antics; sometimes we have to change them a little before the 60 days because his inner angst raises for some reason (such as being cut off from the all he can eat food bin). So the affordable price is a win there. The first day the smell is pretty noticable and we call him "Grandma Cat" and he's kinda dopey/sleepy, otherwise it's only noticable when he's sitting on my head because I'm late feeding him. I enjoy the little tins; they keep the collars fresh for months in the drawer but I also take off the labels and repurpose them for all sorts of stuff. The material is a more rubbery soft type then the fancy name brand. This is GREAT because it is so much easier to put the collar on him instead of fighting with stiff plastic and an unforgiving buckle. No more choking him trying to wrestle the collar on. And the excess trimming is easier, so I worry less about the scissors slipping and chopping an ear off. Plus the blue is very nice with his black fur and he looks quite dapper as he godzillas around the house.

I think it is working...not sure how long for though
Okay I have a multi cat household and there are a few cats that fight all the time. Those cats are medicated because they also randomly go on a pee stint. We have spent probably thousands of dollars on tests, scans, treatments you name it to keep them with us. Nothing works permanently unless I have heavily medicated zombie kitties. So we tried this on the primary bully cat first. Also we bought a really nice catio as well and we have like tons of entertainment for the cats anyway but we felt the catio could help too. So bully cat has a collar and no pee for 6 days. He would be more regular peeing once a day on my bathroom rug or on my counter. I refuse to have my custom home destroyed so it was getting close to giving him away. Also these are like 11yr old, 5yr old, and a 1yr old cat. This behavior started two years ago not as consistent though maybe a few times a year one of these cats would act out. It started when my daughter started walking. Then it got worse this year when we bought a puppy after our senior dog passed away. So bully cat ha a collar and no pee. Still on his medication for anxiety and depression but no pee. So next cat that started a fight we put the collar on the 1yr old and no fights since on day 4. All of these three cats would fight terribly when we would be sleeping. So final kitty collar on day 2 and calm as can be. I am sure it is doing something I just hope it lasts because what a miracle collar if it does.

Think these work
I just started these on mg cat yesterday. Shes a bitter. She will just stall me then go for my leg or arm. No apparent reason. Think she is bored or just not getting enough exercise. But I did notice she seems more relaxed. So says it last 60 days and I like that I got 4 collars. So these should last awhile.

Actually Works but Gave Cat Rash
Like that this made my cat not such a a hole to my other cats and greatly reduced his overall anxiety. Oddly it worked almost immediately. He is one of our two covid kittens and therefore doesn't like for any of us to be out of his sight. My 7 year old goes outside to play poor Carl yowls like he's going to die of sadness. My husband goes to work same thing. I go show houses it's like he's died. I shut the door to go to the bathroom... he needs a therapist. This collar reversed all of that in a day. Unfortunately it also gave him a rash in a day as well. His poor sister who he likes to chase when he's bored (she can and does kick his butt, but he pushes her to the edge of sanity... much like my husband with me. Do they sell these collars for couples??) is ready for me to make some modifications. I figure it's worth it for me to glue a bit of fabric on the inside to lessen the rash and relieve the grabbing of hair from the poorly chosen choice of material. Anywhoo. Worth the money. Just watch for itching. Adjust and modify to reduce because these collars make a ton of difference.

3 feline girls
Helps create a little calm; not perfect, but they all live in more calm. Still chase each other a bit .

Absolutely brilliant. Made a massive difference within minutes.
I have 7 cats, including a number of elderly foreign rescues, younger UK rescues and Foster cats. One has dementia, and the vibe has become increasingly aggressive. Within 20 minutes of putting these collars on all 7, they were all peacefully stretched out and showing no signs of stress st all. These collars were very much a last-chance-saloon move, but I thoroughly wish I'd bought them years ago. They work - brilliantly.

I've changed my mind see my initially comments and update
Unfortunately I don't think it has worked on my 2 cats. One is a bully and the other very nervous. They are siblings but one wants to own the house so always growls at her sister when she appears. Shame but the plugs in didn't work for me either. Obviously got 2 odd cats!!!!Update, after one month usage we are seeing a slight improvement. Less hissing so fingers crossed things will continue to improve with further usage

Safety of cat calming collar
The collars never got as far as my cats necks. They may well have calmed them and eased the tension between one of the cats and the other two. They smelled lovely of lavender and I can see how that would have been calming However, they were styled like dog’s flea collar, fitted on and tightened to the required size. If they had got caught on something whilst out there is little chance they would have been able to get away, and they would not have pulled undone like their regular collars. So they were sadly sent straight back without having a chance to see if they worked. If the collars could be made with a safety catch like regular collars I would try again, but I could not risk these.

It works but at a price.
Works well as my older cat was calmer after wearing the collar and intruding to the new kitten but after a couple of days, I saw some kind if oozing ulcer just below the collar.Having found the ulcar I immediately removed the collar and noticed my cat perked up and was happier. Don't get me wrong I think it helped him the first day or two to stay calm around the kitten so once the collar was off he was pretty relaxed but I wouldn't be using these collars ever again and recommend if you do use them, check thoroughly and frequently for any sort of skin irritations or inflammatory reaction. As well, if you're cat seems drousy or not really 'with it' to please check to see if the collar is having an adverse effect on your feline friend 😊
