A great multi-functional clock
I purchased this clock for one thing and it was for the projection digital clock display. The added bonus was the indoor/outdoor temperature, radio-controlled time sync and weather forecast. This is my third purchase because I had to have one in each bedroom. It comes with a manual and DC adapter. You will need 2-AA batteries to retain settings during a power outage. Effortless setup with time zone selections, Celsius or Fahrenheit for the temp. The display (red) light is easily adjustable, rotates and it displays the time on the bottom, and the temp at the same time; alternating between indoor/outdoor temps. Overall a great digital clock!

Easy to read projection, and accurate temperature and time.
After looking for a replacement projection alarm clock that used a red instead of blue (hard to see) projection light, I researched Amazon, and found this clock. The projection light is red on this clock, and it also doubles as a mini weather station. At first, I did not care about the weather features, but that would soon change. The entire southern part of our country had an extremely low temperature cold front move through last week. I was concerned we might have a problem with our waterlines freezing under the house. In the past when the temps got into the teens, we would leave all the faucets in the house dripping a spaghetti size stream of water to keep the pipes from freezing. I decided to place the outdoor temperature sensor in the crawl space under the house to monitor the temps, and know before the temps reached 32 degrees or lower. I wasn't sure if this would work, but boy did it ever. The first night of the cold front the outdoor temps dropped below 32 degrees beginning late afternoon. By the time I went to bed, outdoor temps were 19 degrees, inside house temps were 67 degrees, the under the house it was 47 degrees. I figured the crawl space was still holding the heat from the day before as the temps were almost 70 degrees that day. Second night and the outdoor temps have been below freezing for over 24 hours. When I went to bed, I checked the temperature numbers. Outdoor temps were 21 degrees, inside house temps were 67 degrees, the under the house it was 43 degrees. This seemed a little strange to me. Our house is all brick, but with a crawl space instead of a basement. There are vents (open to the outside air) every 20 feet in the concrete block/brick walls. I found it hard to believe the temps were so high under the house. I figured they would be below freezing by now. Day three the outdoor temps reached 38 degrees around noon, so I decided to go under the house and place a thermometer next to the temp sensor to check the accuracy of the sensor. I checked the thermometer four hours later. The thermometer read 48 degrees, and the sensor read 48.4 degrees. Basically the same temperature. I went back inside the house and told my wife the results. Without hesitation, she says: "Sounds like the duct-work under the house is leaking heat". The following day I crawled back under the house, and started to inspect the HVAC duct-work. Forty-five minutes later, I found the problem. Apparently (last summer) the termite inspection guy "bumped" a union of two ducts just enough to open the connection 1/8 inch on one side. Our central heat was leaking under the house. This is why the temps under the house were so much higher than the ambient temperature outside. For me, the clock paid for itself at that moment. I read some reviews that stated the clock alarms were hard to set. I did not experience this. There are two small slide switches on the back of the clock. One is the "on/off" for alarm number one, and the other is "on/off" for alarm number two. After finding these two switches, the alarms were easy to manage. All and all a nice small footprint night table projection alarm clock for a good price.

Decent projection clock.
Update 12/2020: I received a third clock and this one works well! No issues with the backlight randomly changing like the first two and the projection feature works as well. Update: The second (replacement) clock failed as well. This time, not only the dimming capability failed, but also the projection feature. Sending it back I really like the humidity feature. My old projection clock did not have this. It synced very quickly with the remote unit. I would be nice to be able to adjust the size of the projection on the ceiling as well as the focus. I ended up sending the first one back due to an issue with the backlight not staying dimmed. Sometimes it would not even change brightness and when it did change, it would revert back to full brightness within a few seconds. I am sensitive to light when trying to sleep, so I had to send it back. So far, the backlight on the replacement is working well. It would be nice if it were an "atomic" clock, but I guess the battery backup will have to do.

*** revised review. Remotes don’t work
** Revised review: The company reached out and if you long press the + button you can reconnect the remote and IT WORKED!!! I am not returning and you will love this clock! It is with great sadness that I’m writing this review because I really wanted to love this product. I ordered two of them hoping that the second one would work better than the first however, for both of them the outdoor remote quit working within about 48 hours. I’ve tried everything. I pressed the reset button. I’ve taken the batteries in and out. Nothing helps. So if you are buying this because you enjoy the outdoor thermometer which was so incredibly cool don’t buy it because it’s not going to work and it’s really disappointing.

Worth the money, but not perfect.
Not bad. The screen is nice but would be better if you could dim it. The outdoor sensor works well. The projected time has two brightness levels, the dimmer one is too dim to make out in the daytime. The brightest projection is dimmer than I would like even at night but you can definitely see it at night. It would be nice if you could adjust the size of the projection. Haven't tried the alarm function and probably wont with how small the buttons are, but thats not the reason I bought it. I like the weather forecast info thats via RF rather than needing wifi. Overall I'm not upset with the Dr Prepare clock for the $25 I paid. But it could be better.

Subpar
It works, kinda. The clock keeps time just fine. The interior temp seems to be right. The exterior temp is the issue. It keeps losing the signal with the outside sensor. There's nothing in the instructions that I can find to quickly reset the signal. I went online and found a video for another brand that looked similar. The videos information seems to work with this one too. Now I can reset the signal quickly. I dislike the buttons to turn the alarm on/off. The location and lack of ease to get them to function is just poor design. You pretty much have to pick it up to turn the alarm off/on. It takes a fingernail to get the tiny button to click from on position to the other. I like the projector as I don't have to try and roll over to see the time. It would help if the projector showed the alarm being active too. The description listed all the stuff I wanted in an alarm and more. It just would be nice if it actually worked. Outside temp sensor refuses to stay connected. I went a few months with it working and it quit again. Recommended NOT purchasing this brand unless you like being annoyed. For those who have this clock already. When it loses the signal to the outside sensor the instructions are a mess. It says to reset everything you have to pull the battery, I plug the clock, take battery out of sensor, wait ten-15min, etc.... Ignore that, on the top the button marked +/ch. Press and hold it for a few seconds and the clock will try and find the sensor again. Release the button and click it a few times until it has the radio signal above a 1 and a refresh symbol below it wait about a second and then click one more time. The refresh symbol will disappear and the clock will finally find the sensor again. I do it almost everyday. Kept it for awhile, got tired of fighting with the outside temp sensor. It started giving random wrong readings. One morning it claimed it was 90 degrees outside (it was 59) ten minutes passed and ot started dropping and decided it was only 83 (still in the high 50's) an hour later it said high 70's (was in the sixties) then it just stopped working. Took me an hour to get it to function again. I had the outside sensor inside laying next to the clock. When it started working it claimed it was 85 while the clock said 72. I left it overnight and it finally came close to the same temps. Still two degree different, and the humidity was way off. I gave up and ordered something similar. Hopefully it works right. It would be nice to know the outside temp before I climb out of bed. It's nice to know what I need to plan on wearing for the day.

This Clock is Great
Love this clock. Clear view on the ceiling showing constant time and flipping between outside and inside temp. It's great.
