Quality so much better than expected for the money.

This is a really good quality make up brush set which contains 14 pieces and also a case to hold the applicators in. Included in this set is a foundation brush, powder brush, contour brush, highlighter brush, lip brush, 9 eye shadow brushes and 3 makeup sponges. These brushes are made with wooden handles and good quality fibres. The bristles soft not easily fall out, and the makeup sponges from non latex material and they feel really soft and applying foundation with these sponges gets some really good result. My daughter-in-law uses makeup to go out in the evening with my son she likes to use good quality brushes. I gave her these brushes as her ones were getting a little bit old and tatty, she's been using them now for a few weeks and she's reported back to me that they are excellent brushes with good balance in the hand and makeup when applied with one of these brushes goes on smoothly and blends very well. They're not a cheap set at £27.99 (price correct at the time of this review) however good quality brushes can easily cost upwards of this price. This set is beautifully presented in a box, so it would make an excellent gift - if you can bear to part with it! The whole set is excellent quality - I prefer these to my RT brushes, which I normally swear by. The brush bristles are soft, but firm, and give excellent coverage without clogging the brushes. There’s no sign of shedding, and I tried them all out. I’d say the bristles themselves are equal to RT. It’s the beautiful ergonomic wood handles that set them apart for me, they feel really good in your hand. The latex free sponges are another gem, these are brilliant for blending out liquid foundation. I’d buy these on their own, I was so impressed with the softness and bounce back. Even the bag is good quality, well made and lined. The price is currently £27.99 and it’s worth every penny, anyone that’s bought brushes individually knows quality brushes are not cheap! This set gives you 14 quality brushes, including: Powder Brush, Foundation Brush, Contour Brush, 2 Blending Brushes, Detail Brush, Nose Contour Brush, 3 Eyeshadow Brushes, Concealer Brush, Highlight Brush, Eyebrow Brush and Lip Brush. Then you have 3 quality sponges and a storage bag. This is a fantastic gift for a makeup enthusiast. I did order it for my niece, who is very skilled with makeup, but I can’t part with it. As well as being excellent quality they have put a lot of thought into the product. These are cruelty-free vegan brushes made from corn silk fibre. The ergonomic handles are made with FSC certified wood and recycled aluminium ferrules.

With a background in hair/beauty I jumped at the opportunity to try these out having only used salon quality brand brushes before it was particularly exciting and they did not disappoint! Pros: - great quality - do not shed hairs in use - synthetic hairs which are vegan friendly -soft hairs which do not fault application - low risk of sensitivity/allergy with synthetic hairs - wooden ergonomic handles which are lovely and comfortable to hold / smooth and branded - improve ease of application - beginners guide to use of each brush enclosed! - sponges are soft and non-rubbery, easy application - £27.99 bargain price for this set! Cons: - in the descriptions claims to have “FSC certified handles” for the wood but this has not been searchable by this company on the website and it is not stated anywhere in or on the packaging which is unusual - perhaps the company can review this. Verdict: Yes I would recommend this product for the current sale price but DUCare need to clear up whether this is an FSC sustainable product or not as advertised.

The bristles are made from corn silk fibre which is cruelty free and safe for vegans. The brushes are quite small but the perfect size for taking away on holiday as they won't take up much room in your suitcase This set would make a lovely Christmas present. Its slightly dearer than some sets but absolutely worth it as its all such fantastic quality and helps you to apply make up perfectly. I'm really impressed with this set and have no hesitation in recommending it

I love this set, it's wonderful. The quality of the brushes is very good. Definitely worth the money. It is packed in a beautiful and solid box. These brushes are lovely. This set comprises of 14 different brushes and 3 make-up sponges, the brushes are really good quality and they comes in a really nice box. These would make a lovely gift and I think they are very good value for money.

Beautiful set sturdy construction with wooden handles. Well made brushes for the price. Came packaged with a bag for travel and instructions for each brushes particular use.
